Revelling in the pain from the glory hunters. Usually my Facebook feed is rife after match day but very quiet recently. The only ones are anti-Moyes, which for me is too soon and even one posting a picture of his ST in the bin, proper toys out the pram petulance. Spoilt little bastards learning what it's like to be an actual football supporter and not a winning supporter and it's fucking priceless. It'll be interesting to see how many are "supporters" at the end of the season. It was never going to be instant success and Moyes was a long term appointment. Trouble is the prawn sandwich brigade demand success yesterday, poisoned chalice indeed, Moyes never thought this through.

I couldn't give two shits about them, hope they have a major meltdown and fuck off into obscurity but I'll be mighty pissed off if we don't put them to the sword at home when it will be our last chance to exact some revenge for some time. You know even as they're getting flushed down the leagues they'd still be banging on about NETD.

Always maintained we had a squad full of quality, badly mismanaged, not solely by Pardew but also his coaching staff.

I don't know how anyone who supports Newcastle can be classed as a glory supporter I have no direct connection to the club, hell I'm less than 40 miles from Manchester and at a time when all my friends were starting to follow Man U and Liverpool I fell in love with the toon and never looked back. It has been hell at times, but my loyalty and support has never wavered. The same cannot be said about a lot of Man U supporters, guaranteed they'll lose a lot in the coming year as red turns to blue or the old Arsenal/Liverpool tops get an airing from the back of the cupboards. Scoff at me or scorn me for not being a "real" supporter or true blood, but cut me and I guaranty it'll be black and white that bleeds out!

Absolutely cannot fault the smarmy gut for today, got everything right. I'd love to be all sweetness and light but there's a lot of deep wounds need healing. Steadily becoming more impressed with our team, if we have the longevity to see this form out and continue to improve in the same way I'm sure Pardew can win over his doubters, me included. We're getting there, here's to hoping it can continue.

Don't see how you can argue he's getting more from his players when he obviously can't utilise quality like Ben Arfa and Anita?

The way Pardew has spoken about fans, the club and about Ashley (in praise) are a disgrace, and to say he wants to uphold traditions Sir Bobby brought to the club make me want to put a meat cleaver through Pardew's bollocks to be honest. Wish he would just shut up. When Robson talked about fans when he was having a rough ride he called us ungrateful b******s and budgies whereas Pardew never said anything like that during his bad spell, so I suppose thats one of Robson's traditions that he isn't upholding . I don't see much wrong with what Pardew's said, as usual. If he says he's trying to use one of our best managers as a role model then what is wrong with that? Don't you think it was a tad ungrateful to want him out in hindsight? We've never recovered! Pardew is a gobshite and doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as SBR, never mind use his name for brownie points. Slimy little bitch.

Crazy tbh, as much as I hated the welsh wanker, Bale is a world class player and they were never gonna replace him like for like at any cost. Everyone wants to see their team improve year on year but there's been too many changes to create instant success. They'll come good if given time, but supporters demand results, just as any bunch would get frustrated at a lack of improvement. It is however worrying for them that their penetration, final ball and finishing this season has been so suspect. AVB needs to get that sorted ASAP. One or two wins and everyone will shut up again. Sacking in November when you're 4 points off second place is beyond kneejerk like!

He made a perfectly timed run, it's difficult to criticise him for a split second decision of going a little earlier than he could have done. Harsh tbf. Incorrectly ruled offside, but considering the split decision on the board through numerous replays its hard to blame the linesman. He has a name for himself now and although the fair decision is to give the attacker the benefit of the doubt, he'll always lose out to his reputation. Just need a couple of calls to go his way to build his confidence up.

But they haven't played that team consistently. It was the first time i'd seen Lamela start in the league for example. Soldado - Paulinho and maybe someone else i've forgotten have started every game i've seen from them out of their front 6. Outwide we've seen Chadli, Lennon, Lamela, Townsend. In the middle Sigurdsson (sometimes plays wide too), Eriksen, Holtby, Sandro, Dembele, the French lad and i'm probably missing a couple players. There's no consistency, he doesn't know his best team and it's not surprising. Their attacking play is a little like ours last season - look like strangers. From a team lacking an effective attacking identity they could probably use someone like Adebayor up top for a bit. Sometimes you can just float the ball in to him and play off him. The way we did with Shola in the first half against Norwich, it really makes things easier when you have a player like that. Soldado seems to be a particular type of forward and they don't play to his strengths at all. Shearer hit the nail on the head from what I've seen if them, far too narrow and Soldado in particular coming too far midfield during an attack, defenders will let him play with his back to goal all day outside the box. They need to get in him in the box facing goal with some decent balls in to get the best out if him.

I don't understand comments like this. He is a really exciting player and all the things he does adds excitement to the league He is a quality player, a real danger! But on the flip side, he's a rat faced, racist, cheating, slimy little fucktard.

Bobby turned Shearer back into an in for striker, I don't know why you've brought those two into this. without bobby shearer was finished? give over. my point stands, you cant diminish the results of a manager just because hes lucky to have an inform striker. He was never finished, his game had to be changed, his legs were old and tired and he couldn't play the same anymore, SBR got the best out of him and turned him from becoming bang average to prolific again. No one said he was finished?

Absolutely gutted for Cisse, obviously has some class about him, I just don't know where his head is at, he either needs no game time for a while, get him fired up, a new manager to sort him out or just shipping out to another team to build up his confidence again. I just wonder if he'll ever get out if this funk again?

Tbf Shearer wasn't exactly in a rich vein of form when SBR came in, he was responsible for getting him playing again and utilising him in a way Gullit couldn't. So that's a moot point! Can't complain about the results this season, just a couple of horrific displays. We keep playing as one half wonders though and we'll come unstuck sooner rather than later.
