Why on earth would Liverpool accept an offer from us? We won't be paying £15m for anyone. If he rejects West Ham we wouldn't have to match their bid, just hypothesising of course, because, as you said I doubt they would want to do business with us. There's a lot of factors still in play so I'm not counting my chickens, but with any luck he'll go there. I wouldn't mind him here as I said, but that would just be pandering after Pardew and where he's concerned I would cut off my proverbial nose to spite.

Einstein once said "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." In that vein I would say Pardew needs sectioning!
-
It all depends if Carroll accepts I suppose, if we've spoken to him he may reject it, awaiting our bid, could be a twist in this. Not that I want him to preserve the cretins job any longer.

f*** me, man. Just so far from being right. The only thing he got right in that whole piece was Shola and Jonas, love em both but they're spent, time to move on. I think his arse is too full of Pardew cock to think straight.

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/sport-opinion/mick-quinn-delivers-end-of-season-verdict-3903943 Mick Quinn in the Chronic blaming everyone bar Pardew and claiming we need to bin off Anita and Marveaux!?!?

Wonder how Carr feels about how his players are being used? He's done an amazing job for us and got some real talent, it must really piss him off to see the likes of Sissoko right wing and Cabaye covering the centre backs! I can only hope he has the bottle to voice his displeasure, I'd imagine he has earned a lot of respect from Ashley and he would listen to him.

Ok so Pardew us the second longest serving manager in the Premiership, that's our stability out of the way, can we sack him now?
-
Same really, it's the only way to be. I would tend to agree if the thought of him being here next season would amount to even an iota of relaxation. I've come to the conclusion he's more than likely to be here, not that I want or am comfortable with it like but it doesn't look promising so far

Twitter pretty rife with rumours about Pardew, has it all stemmed from that Colin cunt?
-
Alan "verbal diarrhoea" Pardew needs to be gagged, or shot, or both!

Managers can always learn, but there's not much you can do about basic decision making stupidity. Mind boggling subs, inability to adapt to other manager's changes, picking a subs bench without including enough options, picking too many defensive midfielders then not having any clarity on their roles.... how many of those things can he put right before changing his mind and going back to square one after a negative result? To be fair to Pardew, I'd imagine it's pretty difficult to learn anything when you're busy licking windows.

Sorry goat, looks like Pardew might be staying!
-
It's whether he's allowed to. Does he have free reign to alter coaching teams/recruit, hire/fire considering the financial implications? Good point, guess the question then is, as a team, will they learn and improve? From a Mike/Dekka perspective, I would say that on the whole, they are making micro-improvements, and learning.... I live and hope that as a group, them come together, and learn/grow. I would normally agree, people in general can grow and adapt to situations, learn from mistakes and change certain things about themselves. However, having read message boards from Charlton, Southampton and West Ham it's clear that history is repeating itself with frightening accuracy, from the tactics down to the playing players out of position and strange substitutes. If he hasn't changed in 8 years, why would he after one season?

Pardew is s****, he works on defence for 4 days and attack for 1. Why does it have to be one or the other? We never seem to look as if we work on playing as a team and that would make sense with what we've been told. Hopefully he's picked his last team for us, I refuse to give up hope. With a bit of luck he'll go into his meeting with Ashley and Llambias, blames everybody but himself and gets the bullet. Exactly, there's no transition from defence into attack, like Wullie said, it's one or the other. But he drills the positional ridgidity into them and its hard to turn that into attack when we've got that lack of movement off the ball that we've all seen. We get the ball, we're pressed, there's no outlet so it's a long punt forward.

"No more goals" is fairly damning. I think I saw him shouting that in the Man U game after we'd gone ahead for the third time. Was that not understandable? Unless you're referring to another occasion? I thought it was Arsenal but either way it's a daft thing to say and didn't work. Going 2 goals clear is a good way to win a game. You're right it was the Arsenal game, we had our tails up and we had just levelled the score at 3-3 iirc
-
We had belief, confidence and a never say die attitude. None of this giving up in the second half, we fought tooth and nail until the final whistle. Wasn't always pretty and we had a few cloggers but I preferred it to the dross we serve up these days. Plus Hughton was a genuine, decent bloke.

We should all be thankful of Pardew for doing so shit in the cups and keeping us out of the top half of the table, we could have had to be dealing with that pesky Europe thing again, getting in the way of us winning matches and finishing at the top half of the table so we can get.......in.......... Never mind!

A change in coach(s) won't make one s**** of difference, just another diversionary tactic to avert the heat firmly on Pardew's arse right now. If there was such concern about training techniques that could have been rectified midseason without much disturbance to the team. It's only since these possibilities have been brought to light that he's added it to his ever expanding list of bullshit excuses. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure I heard Pardew has mentioned replacing coach(s) ahead of next season? Completely agree btw, someone needs to be crucified if we haven't at least enquirer about the possibility of him managing us and what his demands would be if we were to take an interest. Massive, massive improvement on what we have, exponentially! Ashley has shown he's a man of opportunity so don't get why he wouldn't.
-
Nah i would be too but it doesn't make a lot of financial sense IMO. I personally wouldn't pay 20m for Benteke either, i'm loathe to wanting to spend big money on strikers based on one season. Carroll being case and point, good player but never worth the £35m price tag that weighed him down so much. 1 season doesn't make a legend.

Hope he gets arrested coming back to England and sentenced to 5 years community service as Newcastle United manager.

someone asked for some twitter guff so I posted the first thing I found, utter dross like!

Buying Pardew new players is like throwing glitter in a turd, it looks a bit better but ultimately it's still shit! Anyone had the misfortune to read The Mag recently? So much pro Pardew guff, it's sickening, the author is either deluded or on drugs!?!
