He’s taken various players out of the XI when he’s felt that they aren’t able to do what he wants, look at Hall in his first season. Sometimes players come back better from watching and learning what should be done rather than trying to get them to do it when they can’t. It doesn’t mean that they’ll never be able to but it might just take some learning.

I think the performance last night showed that he’s still got the buy in from the players. If you contrast that with how Spurs went about that first half it’s a total night & day comparison.
