Sell him for £100m and replace him with a Ligue 2 player on loan, such is their model.

I've been to a fair few of the True Faith (Yes I know) live events, whether it be pre-season talk-ins, mid season or end of season recaps. They usually have the same panel of journalists, Craig Hope, Luke Edwards, Keith Downie & Mark Douglas. George Caulkin used to be at them but I don't think he's been to the most recent ones. They all generally come across really well, Hope I think had a bit of an ear at the club in Amanda & Mehrdad & is probably disappointed with that going, he does come across as someone once said 'if he was chocolate he would eat himself'. He is however a massive fan of Howe & obviously the Daily Mail headlines are massively sensationalized away from the actually pieces of the articles. Edwards' online persona is what it is, a character. In person he's always very positive about NUFC, Howe especially.

Boils my piss that all he offers is goals and assists.

How’s Minteh been?

Great to see everyone on the sell Gordon theme now. I do wonder if the current accessibility to everything instantly (video, music & even money) has made a whole generation of people turn into impatient idiots.

Press Conference delayed, walked out?

At what point was 31 year old injury prone Neymar at his peak when he went to Saudi?
-
Depends on how he wastes that money I suppose? I doubt there's very little difference going from £250k a week to £500k makes in terms of things you can afford, it just gives you more opportunity to spunk the money up the wall.

22/23 Season was his peak no? He was pretty disappointing last season but that could have more to do with how bad Napoli were in general and he had some injury trouble.
-
Signing today it would seem, £20m. The Daily Mail gospel.
-
I can't believe the amount of top European clubs who have stepped aside to allow Al Nassr to sign him.
-
Thought he played ok last night but definitely still glimpses of why he probably wouldn't get to where we want to be as a player, yes I know Longstaff has his limitations but I get the feeling with Anderson that nobody is even sure where his best position is. Longstaff for all his technical issues still shows a decent footballing brain (making good forward runs, offers a bit of a goal threat & his actual positioning sense in both attack and defense is good) I don't really see any of that with Anderson for now.

Looked more like an impact injury, my first thoughts (Dr. Nick Riviera School of Medicine) was that it was a dead leg, fingers crossed for that.

Loan swap for Traore would be a laugh, one headless chicken for another.
-
Good to have another set piece taker back as well, with Tripper not playing it means we don't have Gordon, Murphy or Bruno on them who have all been poor.
-
Again not really the point I was making.
-
Hasn't it just been reported that it's the way the deal is structured that Palace aren't happy with, anyway the point I was getting it was more to do with the way the two players are viewed more than anything.

Interesting to see peoples take on paying £50m for a player who didn't even play half of his games last season in the position that we're looking to fill in comparison to Guehi @ £70m who was a stand out performer in the league last year, knows the Premier League & is proven in it. Younger (ok by a couple of months) than the alternative and would take no time to adapt whilst also being a current England International & club captain. Sexy foreign name though from sexy foreign league.

Our centre midfielder just clotheslined someone last game & the week before that we had a player sent of for a headbutt (soft).

Ahh fuck never mind then. The yellow card point still stands though.

Man Utd selling one of the worst professional footballers I've seen in recent years in Hannibal for £9m to Burnley just outlines how bad our academy has been at producing players to sell/keep. In good news though he's an absolute yellow card liability so I'll be keeping an eye on Burnley's starting XI on Saturday.

All the leaks are coming from the Palace end aren't they?
