I could be wrong but I just think Pardew would keep him away from public friendlies and use the behind closed doors ones to play him in. Pardew knows keeping Ben Arfa out of the first team is an unpopular decision and playing him in local friendlies will just get him more stick off the press and supporters.

Nothing much, some decent value at Galway but i know sod all about most Irish racing so just went for another ew L15 based on names I've learnt a few things from my brief experience in horse racing, don't bet on a female jockey (unless in an all female race), don't bet on races in Ireland and don't bet on races at Carlisle. If you are going to bet on races in Ireland picking the horse by name is pretty much the best option, either that or pulling them out of a hat.

From what I've seen he's one of those players with no outstanding attributes just a very 'meh' all-round player, which is why Pardew will be his biggest fan.
