Think we are in a better situation currently than Sunderland and Stoke are going to need to have a massive clear out if they bring in a manager who's looking to play better football.

Yeah, hopefully they see it as one bad season and don't want to jump ship just yet. Next season is massive. Realistically the top 6 is set, although if Spurs sell Bale that might change.

This might just be wishful thinking but I think he actually likes being here, the big fish in a relatively small pond (on field success). Given how much of his early career was wasted I think he sees this as a good situation for him, he likes the city, seems to get on great with the other players and the manager. He knows he's pretty much the main star.

Have they put a time down for the earliest we can get on the pitch? I'd imagine they'll let us on it about quarter to 10.

Problem with that is that it may well have Pardew's number 1 target but we all know he's got very little to do with player recruitment. If he doesn't like that he can walk.
