I don't want him to drop back. His goal scoring ability is something we desperate for. We need more goalscorers in the side to make us harder to defend against. Last year we only had cisse and when he was out, teams could put more pressure on us, they hardly had to worry about us scoring. If Winjaldum drops back we will be limiting his game imo. He can play there however, has the footballing ability. Not sure how his distribution is though. Chelsea and Southampton also play 4 2 3 1 system. Chelsea had Matic and Fabregas as the "2". Southampton had Davis and Wanyama. We had Anita and Colback.

I think we need a better footballer than one of Colback/Anita in central midfield and also we have a lot of competition for that attacking midfield role fair enough

We have the highest income and the highest wage bill. We do have some overpaid players in our squad judging by that.
