  1. So happy with the draw. No surprise that we sat back. What a fantastic day it was yesterday.
  2. His previous outcry to escape to San Lorenzo (2013) is probably what is making him disliked now. I don't think anybody has a problem with him leaving this time around. Has had some good years and some bad years. Thanks for the good years! Adiós Colo!
  3. We haven't had a manager that I truly believe in since Sir Bobby until now. He has been handed mission impossible to keep us up unfortunately.

Kind of sad for him that the his most exiting time in charge of Newcastle is around his sacking..
  5. I actually thought that was Colback until I saw the number on his back.
  6. Kind of a boring game. You can't really spot which team plays in the Premier League.
  7. He needs to get some confidence. He is getting chances but needs to put them away.
  8. Our club can actually be a good thing for a striker. Demba Ba, Remy and Carroll have all failed to reach the same heights as they did at Newcastle, for different reasons. While Pulis is at West Brom, Berahino should be looking for a new club. Spurs might be the right place for him, but he would get plenty of change to prove himself at Newcastle.
  9. I think most fans realize we will at most get Doumbia through the door today. The rest will be futile attempts and press bs.
  10. There's also, in his mind (rightly or wrongly), depriving a rival struggling club of goals. The thing is though if we move on to another target (Remy) then all he has done is rejected £21m for player they don't play, and haven't even succeeded in placing us in a weakened position. Yeah that's a point, if we did get Remy instead because they refuse to do a deal on Berahino then Peace would probably have helped us in the short term. Obviously long term Berahino is the better option, but just for this season and what will keep us up Remy is the absolute best option IMO The only thing about Remy is that he is more likely to get injured.
  11. tbf US has been much better so far.
  12. If USA loose this game they might as well quit playing football

    Florian Thauvin

Agree! Not all players hit the ground running and some never take off. Booing will only make the latter more likely.
  14. According to Transfermarkt.com this season he's played: 19 times as CM 2 times as ACM 2 times as RM 2 times as RW 1 times as LW Don't know how reliable this site is, and they only have little potition data from 14/15 for Saivet. Haven't seen him play so I have no idea what he could bring to the team.
  15. Shit defending by Hangeland and Dann.
  16. Gylfi on the bench, think it's a mistake, but I'm biased.
  17. Either Wijnaldum's memory is fading or .com have got it wrong as the player himself said in his post-match interview on Sky that two of the four for Feyenoord against Groningen were penalties. EDIT: His memory is fine - quick Google search shows 2 of the Feyenoord 4 were pens. Why would they make a point of mentioning they all came from open play without researching it. They only say today's goals came from open play, so they are right.
  18. Never been as much fun watching the national team!!!!!!!!!!!!
