  1. The 1990's was a great decade. - The end of Liverpool dominance - Forest winning cups but then getting relegated - The emergence of Blackburn then relegation - Newcastle going from nothing to European elite and then back to mediocrity - Villa, Leeds, Norwich, Forest, Leeds, Newcastle, Blackburn, Ipswich all finishing in the top 5, as well as Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea. Even Sunderland finished top 7. 12 very different clubs - and in that decade there were eras of challengers - Blackburn era, Newcastle, Arsenal, Leeds and Chelsea. Liverpool were always decent but never at the very top until Benitez, mostly a cup team. In the last decade - it's only between Liverpool and Man City, with the odd Chelsea or Arsenal or Man U challenge. Even Spurs never really had a title challenge except that Leicester city season. Anyone else may sneak in to CL spots one season - Villa, Newcastle, Leicester, but very rare to keep themselves there. Even FA cup winners of the 90's - Crystal Palace, Spurs, Everton alongside the Arsenal's, Man Utd, Chelsea - and some of the finalists - Forest, Sunderland, Sheffield Wed, Middlesbro, Newcastle So boring and becoming such a closed shop.

    Yoane Wissa

Wilson was technically our number 9
  3. The only Italian I’d want this summer is Scalvini

    Dan Burn

We’ve got Englands starting CB. We’ve never had that, even Woodgate or Howey were never a regular
  5. Tonali reminds me of David Batty in how he plays. Awesome player
  6. He’s become a Loic Remy. Good player and goalscorer but no one cares beyond thats
  7. But surely, it would have warranted more of a conversation, these guys at NuFC wanted me since the Reims days, they must really rate me and have a plan for me etc. it’s not as big a no brainer as it may seem. At PSG he was young and arrogant but as well as it being his childhood team the chance to work with Messi Mbappe and Neymar you can’t begrudge anyone that.
  8. I want Joelinton to go in two footed lunge on Ekitike in minute two and it shakes him up so much that he gets subbed off at half time (ekitike that is not Joe)
  9. I see this being the 2025 version of Newcastle 5-0 Manchester United Schar chipping Allison for the 5th
  10. If I was Liverpool and I wanted to do one of my infamous “power plays” I’d tap Gordon up next for that LW slot vacated by Diaz it worked and turned his head last season but he seems back to his best so could be another way to derail or get revenge for not selling Isak cheap
  11. Another example of Livraeli bias

That's the definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face
  13. The more I look at this, the more I see Isak only fitting in at Barcelona as Lewandowski's replacement. Isak, Raphina, Yamal is some front three. The problem is they are broke. Wouldn't mind us doing a loan swap for a year with Isak and Lewa whilst they try and find some cash, sell some assets or levers etc. Sell for 140m next year. We get an experienced CL performer - they subsidise wages. Isak gets paid his NUFC salary but in fresh environemnt. I'd also then sign a young striker with huge potential, like Ramos or Samu who can then learn from Lewa this season. Unlikely but just an idea.
  14. That actually looks very good. Next summer I'd want a proper transformative one - with Ross doing his thing and getting the best young talents across Europe.
  15. Ramos or Samu Ramos is more of a finisher, whereas I feel Samu adds to the power pace and potential of the team
  16. Let Miley go out on loan. Get in Paqueta. Willock to leave next summer. That is the among best six midfielders in the PL - Bruno Joelinton Tonali Paqueta Ramsey Miley - a bit of everything
  17. I’d sooner loan out Willock with an obligation to buy
  18. Would take Ramos, Lee Kangin and 63m for Isak. Our money back plus two solid players. Throw in Donnarumma on loan whilst paying most of his wages and I’ll snap your hands off

    Joe Willock

As Ramsey is the Willock equivalent it would be nice to sell Willock and get one more technical player that can cover for Tonali or Bruno, assuming that Miley can cover for one of them. May that is BEK or someone else I don’t know

I want Wissa to have a Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba like scoring rate where they have the Midas touch and everything he touches turns to goal
  21. It does show their DOF can get signings done quickly first of all and the kind of ones we’d all like here. I wasn’t initially convinced by him as he didn’t have the reputation of Ashworth or Mitchell but Forests recent track record of transfers has been excellent. So looking forward to him working his magic here. Arguably better than Freedman
