Given Andersen is considered to be a like for like copy of Schar albeit 5 years younger, getting him for 20m could be a great short term option for a couple of years. Buys us time, and keeps money in the pot for a top RW. Schar and Andersen (and Krafth) as the passing defenders is more than good enough for RCB with Botman Kelly and Burn for LCB. Lacks speed but can resolve that next summer.

We need a lift. At this point I’d be tempted to give Barcelona £100m for Christensen, Raphinia and Roque That would inject new life into us and make us challengers imo

Good points. Things are precarious and I think that's why people are frustrated, it only needs two or three top class players to finish this team off and mitigate some of these risks of a long hard season

But you can pay for that 150k p/w from the 10-12m you would save on the transfer fee of such a player? Normally they would have expected to have paid 25m let's say, even 20m. So the budget is still there so to speak.
