  1. The way I read it was that Priority 1 get put in a ballot to determine what number they are on the waiting list. Lets say there's 1000 in this group and they all get randomly given a number from 1-1000. Priority 2 also get put in a ballot to decide what number they are on the waiting list, but they are after Priority 1 so the lowest person in this group would be position 1001. And so on
  2. I'm really not sure what you're getting so arsey about and you're reading far too much into the exact words I used. I was trying to make a neutral statement that performances need to improve (I think we all agree on that?) and maybe Howe can / might / could / will take us there, or maybe he isn't able to and we look to replace him. But no-one can accurately predict the future, so whatever NUFC do is a gamble. That's not facetious, it's a fact. I wasn't questioning his skills, or saying he can't manage and I'm genuinely neutral about Howe. If he stays and turns it around, I'll be buzzing. If someone new comes in and does well I'll be buzzing. I'm really not arsed as long as we sort out our glaring issues on the pitch.
  3. Beautifully fucking illustrated
  4. I said may he will turn it around, maybe he won't won't. A neutral statement. You replied Why can't he turn it around, he's done it before And I replied because we can't predict the future. So maybe he will, maybe he won't. None of us can say for certain. Not sure why that's got your knickers in a twist. And mojo is just an easy to understand way of saying the skills, experience, attitude, motivations the Eddie has. It's not nebulous, it's just shorthand. And for the record, I don't need anyone to convince me of anything. I'm neither firmly in the Howe-out or Howe-in camp. I'm neutral and pretty relaxed on the matter.
  5. That was the exact image I had in mind as I was typing my patter
  6. Because no one can predict the future, that’s why.
  7. Plenty of examples across all walks of life where someone has something special and then loses their mojo and never regains it. That’s just human nature. I hope he can, but I suspect he can’t. And I wasn’t calling anyone an Eddie Howe FC supporter ya dafty. Stop looking for row.
  8. I know we were, that’s why it’s infuriating that we’ve become the antithesis of everything Howe’s NUFC initially stood for. We’ve become both stale and soft at exactly the same time. And sadly, I’ve not seen anything from Howe recently to suggest he can get us back to where we were. And ultimately the buck stops with him for consistent on-field mistakes. And no-one can say for sure if he can turn it round or not. So whatever NUFC decide to do is a gamble.
  9. The original comment I made wasn’t intended to be that deep. To put it in a simpler way; I want the 22/23 NUFC back and I want it back for the long term. I don’t really care if it’s Howe or someone else who brings it back, as much as I love Eddie, I support NUFC, not the NUFC manager. If losing Howe means we get it back, then fine by me. If Howe finds a way to bring it back, then also fine by me. But my opinion is that if Howe was the one capable of doing it, he would have, so I’m erring towards a new manager. But it’s like 49% keep him, 51% thank him for an amazing job and move on.
  10. If we tick all of those boxes with the resources we have under PIF then we shouldn't be finishing in lower positions in the league. Comparing Ashley era to now is a flawed exercise. The scenario at the club was completely different in terms of resource and ambition.
  11. My expectation would be that a new manager would stop us from chucking away points from decent positions game after game after game. Through the winning attitude he instils in the players, the tactics he employs, the in-game changes. With our financial constraints we need to a wily team, a team that other teams hate playing against. If we get ahead we do everything we possibly can to stay ahead. We're none of those things. We're a proper fucking soft touch. Soft as clarts. And absolutely predictable too. In how he play and how we capitulate. I feel like Eddie's completely lost his mojo. Maybe he has, or maybe it's just a blip.
  12. How long do you reckon you’re willing to give him before you’d accept that we needed to change ? Let’s say we’re still making the same shit mistakes on the pitch game after game next season, then when’s the right time to call it a day and get someone new in ?
  13. Agree. Even before the game it’s annoying, nearly had them whipped in my eyes a few times. I’ve had to tell people (politely) to mind what they’re doing.
  14. And exactly why I’m not going to the game. Got other things to spend £55 quid on, that in my mind, represent much better value for my hard earned money. Even more so given the thousands of £’s I’ve ploughed into tickets recently that the club gives me, or any other regular match goers, fuck all recognition for.
  15. All of these lads would
  16. Indeedly doodly, that was my point It’s too expensive and people can’t be arsed to pay those prices for an end of season kick about
  17. To all the doylems watching Arsenal on their telly:
  18. Loads of tickets available in resale suggests plenty of others aren’t very arsed about it either
  19. And when we go in at half time and when we come back out at half time. And shoehorn “toon toon” chants into the special SJP remix of the can can music.
  20. Watching football on telly is a billion times better if you turn the sound off and put some decent music on. Trust me.
  21. PYRO FLASHING STADIUM LIGHTS FUCKSAKES MAN GET TO FUCK IT AIN’T THE FUCKING WRESTLING RAZZMATTAZ CUNTS
  22. People who couldn't possibly know for definite what happened behind the scenes at NUFC last summer telling people that they're definitely wrong about what possibly happened behind the scenes at NUFC last summer because they believe they definitely know what happened behind the scenes at NUFC last summer and the other person definitely doesn't know what happened behind the scenes at NUFC last summer. It's peak N-O. Like two deranged bald gadgies fighting over a tub of make believe hair gel. Never change lads, never change.
  23. Isak was hardly raw talent, he'd been touted as one of the top young(ish) strikers in Europe and we paid a big fee for him. Eddie hasn't got the best out of three of his key new players this season. The reasons why can be debated at length, but the facts are that he hasn't.
