We asked for more "football" people on the staff. We got it
-
Yeah, this nonsense has gone on far too long now. There are simply too many players playing no where near their capabilities (as was the case last season) for it not to be a coincidence. I mean I've heard the other side of the argument as well that we as fans overrate certain players and I accept that up to a point but I'm not having it as a get out clause for Pardew. We have relied on individual moments of skill pretty much since the day he walked in here. There is simply no gameplan, shape, tactics, style, etc. This is not a "team" it's a bunch of decent individuals thrown together with a poor manager instructing them.
-
wow best make sure he's on his best behaviour from now on then
-
To be fair I didn't expect that little protest to have even the slightest bit of impact. How wrong was I. Shows how easy it is to get to Ashley, hope this means non stop chants against him whenever he turns up to a game now. Prick.
-
Disagree. Gouff attacked with pace and power when he first arrived. At the moment it seems like Pardew is in the process of converting him into the new Jonas. "defensive winger"
-
^^ this. Pardew has barely played him on the right since that Hull game. If you're not going to play him there then there is not much point playing him as we have players better suited to left wing and striker than him.
-
Yep, another reason I was so frustrated. Can't even get a point at the team who were bottom and now have a horrific run of games.
-
There is more to it with him. He was great against villa then since that Hull game he has been horrendous. Don't know if it's the extra weight he's carrying or something going on in his personal life but there has been an extremely noticeable drop in his level.
-
This can only be a good thing in the long run. The world is closing in around them and their little group is getting smaller and smaller. Paranoid actions like this are telling and I hopefully it's the beginning of the end for Ashley and all his little cunt minions.
-
Haven't seen the first half yet but 2nd half I saw him looking heavy, unfit and playing wide left. Not surprised he's struggling.
-
I tried not to believe the idea that Ashley was just a petulant little cry baby as it seemed ridiculous. But this latest move just 100% confirms it. The guy will continue to make spiteful decisions to the detriment of the team on purpose because we said nasty things about him. Cunt.

Thing is, with the lack of ambition etc I've accepted we're probably going to do fuck all this season. However I'd hoped to make up for that we'd have the odd good moments like beating those idiots but no ofcourse not. If u ignore the fact this was a derby, we just lost to what.was the worst team in the league.
-
When so many players have declined from their early form when they joined you can only blame one person and that's that fucking idiot Parses.
-
That game was our best chance of points for a few weeks too I believe.
-
If we hadn't have got lucky with that Taylor free-kick in 2012 pardews record would be horrendous in derbies
-
Fucking bollocks. How was that a foul in the build up to the 2nd btw?
-
We'll win baring any crooked ref intervention.
-
I'd put money on that fucker Quinn being on commentary or the very least a pundit. Why they can't seem to find an ex-newcastle player to balance it up a bit really irritates me.
-
So sky get a Sunderland fan on to preview the game in Michael Gray. Great. I guess I'm too assume Niall fucking Quinn will be doing the commentary again yes?
-
Just seen the Brendan Rodgers whinge about the Ferguson book. First of all him trying to claim that people will remember Fergie more now for "his bitterness in this book" than his accomplishments is a load of absolute bollocks. Second, him going on about the class and history of Liverpool and how Fergie comes across as bitter because "he resented chasing them for so many years" I know he's trying to suck up to the scousers but get over yourself Brendan.
-
Yeah sorry should have said I was assuming the rumours are true that Taylor is out for the derby. Just a tad worried now that were down to the bones and potentially may have to throw these untried youngsters into premier league games. I know it worked out ok against Liverpool with Dummett. But having to rely on Mapou, Williamson and Taylor as the only senior centre backs for a while could be a problem, with Taylor's history of injuries and Mapou's somewhat fragile state.
-
seems like a proper shady bloke. I tend to believe all those rumours about him at blackburn.
-
The dude at the top of that picture trying to film the thing on his fucking tablet
-
who comes in if Williamson or Dummett get injured/sent off in the next game?
