Thought he was very disciplined today as it seemed he'd been told not to bomb forward as I dont think it was until late in the 2nd that he went on a powerful burst forward.

Definite push on benny for the pen claim. As others said shocking highlights from bbc.

Just thought i'd pop in to say that was my first ever away game being able to sit with our fans. Unbelievable experience and a cracking day. Our fans are brilliant like. Topped off with a class effort from the team.

I kept saying to him "take him on mate, go on!" Dunno why I called him my "mate" as I'm not worthy That interview makes me feel like he could hear me though

Ben Arfa if he starts how he ended the last game will always give us a chance. Throw in Remy and a fit Cabaye and I think we could do ok. But obviously our away form tends to be horrific. Plus the chance Pardew could throw taylor and tiote straight back into the team worries me.

win by one if he plays the correct team. Lose by 1-2 if he doesn't.

Pretty sure we wern't going to sign Cisse either as we were quoted £12m originally but then in that January they got a call that the price was £9m if we still wanted him so we went for it. Still a good signing but again another sign that we only went in because we thought we could get a good deal and would never have bothered at his original value.

Sorry to be naive but why on earth would Barca need a new stadium?
-
but what does he look like from the side
-
starting to believe he has put on muscle/weight on purpose to that he is stronger physically and help avoid injuries? I've heard a few players say that before, not sure if it's true like or just an excuse for getting fatter but I've definitely heard others say it before.

The Chronicle aren't going to hear shit all back with questions like that.
-
Caulkin didn't say anything about him but one of the host guys ranted about how he's made up his mind that he's shit because he missed those two chances recently. Caulkin really dislikes Kinnear doesn't he Like the rest of us he just can't get his head around the appointment.

The January signings thing is a complete joke. They ignore the fact we only brought Anita the previous summer. They also ignore Demba Ba fee we received and removed wages + other players who left that summer. They ignore the fact Debuchy should have been a summer signing. They pretend like we don't know the transfer fees for Gouffran and Sissoko were minimal. They add together transfer fee +agent fees+signing on fees+wages for all players. Imagine if all other clubs added in wages to transfer fees for every deal they do. Ridiculous.

a midfield of marv-sissoko-anita-ben arfa are going to keep the ball better to be fair. Unfortunately that's blatantly not going to be a common line up I fear. Jonas and Tiote are almost guaranteed starters under current management.

Going to be amongst our away fans for the first time against Villa. Please tell me our away support aren't ultra pro-pardew? I'm assuming they're the opposite with the shite they've been served up for most of our away games for the last few years?

Thing is as much as I hate Pardew, if he walked/was sacked today I think we're relegated. It would be a direct copy of 2008 all over again. Squad that should be good enough to at least finish somewhere between 10th-14th at the bare minimum would be plunged into chaos once more due to the owners utter incompetence. Kinnear would step in to "steady the ship" He would tell tales again of how Mike was selling the club and how Alan Shearer would be coming back and Kevin Keegan. Meanwhile we plummet down the league. Kinnear eventually dies or at least cannot medically carry on so Beardsley steps in to save the day. Ben Arfa, Krul and Cabaye get shifted in January and we eventually go down with a whimper. As much as I am currently fed up of the club, it's more out of boredom and depression in that this is as good as it will get as we are showing no ambition. But bizarrely it seems most of the players still have some sort of connection with Pardew and barring any major injuries I think he could just about see us through this season to safety. Although it will be a dull, depressing experience. So what I'm saying is I think Pardew stays then we remain the same. Maybe slightly improved on last season who knows but if he goes I can only see one real scenario playing out and that is utter 2008-style chaos.

Has he been carted off to the home yet?
-
they pay people to run their twitter for them? I've no idea as I never use it.
-
Christ is their anywhere they didn't cut costs this year?
-
Our 4-3-3 worked perfectly when we used it, just Demba Ba wasn't happy playing from the left. We arguably have better players now better suited to it in Remy for the left role and Anita or Sissoko to replace guthrie.

Wasn't Anichebe good last year or did I imagine that?
-
Purples system still going strong it seems then. They way it's set up at the moment then it appears Shola will be here for as long as he wants? Because they obviously have no intention of strengthening the squad.

Chelsea are the worst for me. What was it someone on here said earlier? 23 players out on loan currently? Disgusting.
