  1. sadnesstan[/member] I take your point regarding the Stoke game. Yes I wasn't trying to say it was his best game. I was just trying to point out that hopefully any football fan especially a Newcastle one at the time, surely would have enjoyed the way he played and it was just an example of how he was clearly our most creative and dangerous player when on form and for the manager to stick him straight on the bench the next game just proved he had no idea how to nurture that talent.
  2. It's telling when you look back at Ben arfa highlight videos. Normally after doing something very skillful to create a crossing or shooting chance and it doesn't result in a goal, you can normally see Shola in the background throwing a massive strop and arms up in the air. As if Shola of all people would bury the chance if it came his way ? Interesting as well looking back that Ben Arfa actually produced some of his best football in that 2014 season when he was supposed to be fat and was constantly benched all the time. That 5:1 against Stoke where I think he came on as a sub early due to an injury and he ripped them to shreds, hit the post and crossbar aswell as setting up goals and winning penalties, and yet he was straight back on the bench for the next game. Fuck Pardew.
  3. Everytime I load the forum, The first thing I see is "Official: Saudi-back....." always stupidly get my hopes up it's going to say Back in
  4. Twitter really shows the cesspit of scum in the world.
  5. I think it's more likely PIF who were to be the majority shareholders finally got fed up and pulled the plug and Staveley and the Reubens are left with little choice but to go along and then put there statements out. This is dead and as usual it's the fans left to lick their wounds while premier league will continue to churn out its ever increasingly dull product with the same approved top teams year on year.
  6. Take care guys. Good luck to those following the team after this still. I wish everyone well. But like others this was the last straw for me. I've been slowly caring less and less over the Ashley years, there was a glimmer of hope with Rafa and then this potential takeover but its over. Such a shame, for something I have had a massive passion for since a very young age. Perhaps now I can put the hours of time wasted over Newcastle into something more productive.
  7. Those Kevin de bruyne goals today were outstanding.
  8. Reminds me a bit of Angel Di Maria in the way he runs and dribbles

Really good interview. Enjoyed hearing some of the stories about speed, sir bobby, souness etc behind the scenes.

    Rolando Aarons

Haven't really seen any of that explosive pace he showed when he first burst on the scene a few years ago. However still felt like there was more threat with him on the pitch compared to murphy.
  11. I wouldn't bin Darlow personally. May not be ready to be first choice for us in the premier league but played his part in getting us promoted. If Selz had been in goal all season, I'm not sure we would have gone up.
  12. Urgh. Feels me with such dread. I just assume instant loss if his name is on the team sheet
  13. If we give the ref absolutely no excuse to send any of ours off and no hint of a penalty then i think we will win. Im just terrified they will get some ridiculously soft decison yet again as they have so often this season.

    Papiss Cissé

That pic has got to be fake as shit
  17. So he just needs to faze out those pesky black stripes and replace with red ones and he has his perfect sports direct strip
  18. Today is a dark day. Think another loss pretty much confirms it if it wasn't confirmed already
