Taylor _ Barton _ Smith _ Jonas Carroll _ Ameobi Is what I expect with Guthrie, Xisco, Geremi, Ranger, Krul, Nolan, and LuaLua on the bench and maybe Kadar in place of one of those people. and by the 60th-70th minute I'd hope for it to possibly look something like: Harper Simpson _ Taylor _ Colo _ Enrique Smith Barton _ Guthrie _ Jonas Carroll _ Xisco but you never know how it will play out on the day.

Bent is on my fantasy team. He's treated me well so far.

Like any other striker, he thrives on service. When someone like Barton is feeding you the ball rather than some 18 year old kid you're bound to score a few more goals. Being a striker has to be one of the most thankless jobs when the majority of your job depends totally on the team around you. You can't put the ball in the net if you don't get it. (eg: Owen)

I'd also love to possibly get Lovenkrands back. Him and Xisco up front would do some wonders I think, especially if we had a Guthrie/Barton CM partnership with Jonas and another ball-playing midfielder. Lots of movement and passing ability. Also, if we had a better back-up at LB, I'd possibly even try a midfield that looked something like Jonas - Barton - Guthrie - Enrique with Xisco and Carroll/Ameobi/Ranger/New, Quicker striker up-front.

This. I really do think that Xisco is a class above what we have and just hasn't been given a fair crack. Once he does I really do think he'll come good.

Always thought Bullard would be a great teammate to have - always seems to have fun when he's playing. I remember some anecdote from a Premiership defender, and I think it was Ferdinand but he said his least favorite player to mark was Bullard because he would just talk to you the whole time, taking your concentration off the match. Always thought it was hilarious and have since started doing it myself and it works wonders.

Ditto. I was really disappointed that we only got a season from Bassong, ans Spurs got a bargain. No point in looking over our shoulder though he's gone and reminding ourselves about it is just depressing. Let's move on and have a great season ourselves. to be fair, 8m rising to 12m is hardly a bargain.
