Carver finished by saying that 'as things stand' the club has no chance of going back up. He basically said that they need to make changes and quick.
And people are assuming that's Shearer's thought and not Carvers? Interesting.
If Shearer were there saying something then I'd believe to be Shearer's thought, I don't buy any "Shearer talking through Carver" thought processes.
Yup. Oh well. He wanted to leave and we got our £30m, so it worked out better than usual.
What the fuck is it about Real that seems to turn every player's head? FFS it's a circus.
You get to live in the sun and enjoy beautiful women while making exorbitant amounts of money. Sorry but Liverpool has none of that (except maybe the money but not on the scale of Real Madrid). And the football is easier there.
I really like that bloke. A lot better manager than I thought too.
Does anyone know if that disgusting message has been taken away too btw?
Was watching an interview on SSN today with Hodgson and all I could think about was how great it would be to play under a guy like that. Very underrated if you ask me - top manager.
Was thinking that Voronin would be a cheeky addition to the team but at 7.0 it doesn't really seem worth it. I think Doyle will be in with a good shout for his price though.
Not my picture but I thought it was very poignant either way:

It shows just how far his gentlemanly reach really was.
Alonso > Gerrard and that proves how crazy it is that Gerrard is making "world class" lists (Alonso might go either way). Gerrard can't even work in a midfield where someone plays the same way he does for fucks sake - how is that world class?
I love this club to death but if I were a professional footballer I'd be no where near (or trying to get as far away as possible from) this club either.
And he will be buying it under a company's name I am sure, not his own personal name. He could handle tarnishing his own name by all rights, but he wouldn't dare ruin one of his own company's names - bad business.
