  1. Straight red is always 3 matches. Don't you get another one tacked on too if you lose your appeal?

    Amr Zaki

Yeah because they need more strikers. God I hate Liverpool.

    Man City

Ireland is a player who benefits greatly from having better players around him. It elevates his game and also makes him look better. In our squad, or a squad like say, blackburn, he would be total dogshit.

    Penalties.

Hasn't Howard Webb awarded 4 of them as well? Bar last nights I think that all of the penalties were justifiable. Funny how we got away without conceding one at Old Trafford Nicky Butt tackle against Hull at home was justifiable? I reckon he meant that they weren't debatable. Last night's was obviously not a penalty, the rest obviously being penalties.
  5. Gerrard. I really fucking hate him, but can't deny is apparent quality (I'd love to argue but the facts lay themselves on the pitch pretty clearly). Always saving L'pool (whom I hate). Probably Eboue too, diving fuck.
  6. Is it really or was that sarcasm?

    WHAM!!

They already got their three points off of us. I'd reckon a buyer would be in for them quicker than us tbh. London is a big draw.

    The Next 2 Months

Enrique's face when he came off was one of pure surprise. The commentators mentioned that they had seen Kinnear sub someone after 15 minutes if he didn't like what was happening and that might've been the case with Enrique. Feel bad for the kid, felt he wasn't having a half bad match at all.
  10. Thought he did pretty decent today. I really dislike the amount of slagging off he receives on here. I think a lot of it comes down to the fact that he looks like a lazy player with his running style/size, he's a bit goofy looking on the pitch. I just feel ashamed that we all seem to forget that he played well for us for almost an entire season through a hip injury that required surgery to fix but he refused to do it because the team needed him. He's not first choice by a country mile but he's a great choice to have on the bench when we're resorting to long-ball at the end of a match.
  11. He got the red card after he walked away from a definite yellow. Doesn't pay to be a douche (and I like Cahill but you have to call a spade a spade).
  12. We're in this mess currently because Keegan walked away (again), why would we want him back?

    Viduka

You have to agree, he can really add a great creative spark when he's fit.
  14. The rule is about stopping an almost certain goal - which if you're the last man to beat and you take them down, is effectively the same thing.
  15. He lunged in at the guy in an attempt to stop him from breaking free - yellow. He tackled the guy to stop him from breaking free - yellow. He was effectively the last guy (Carvalho wasn't close enough) - straight red. I don't see how it ever got rescinded.
  16. Wasn't it just like a hairline fracture? What a fucking pussy.
  17. It's also ten past 4, only right saddos are awake...oh, wait... I live in Florida, sorry mate.

    Franchises

    You are correct sir.
  19. Why does he always do that? Smiles like a moron standing up straight with both his hands on top of his head after he's f***ed up. There really is something clinically wrong with him. Its called playing with a smile and keeping hopes up and not being a complete doom monger. How dare he.
  20. Nice level headed post. The fact that there are only (now) three replies shows that other people need to take notice and snap out of their over extended knee jerk reaction. I really don't think that Ashley is the bad guy in this situation. He's just trying his best to run a football club in a slightly different way. I to feel this could really work if everyone's job duties are clearly defined and possibly restructured a bit.
  21. While I agree they are not stupid. They are not loyal to us and they are looking at business investments, so why would you pay that extra £70 million when Everton is probobly an equally attractive prospect. Because Everton don't have the stadium. But they also won't try and force you out when the manager walks out on the club.
  22. This is something I've been grappling with as well. All these talks of protests and other business, really who are they going to hurt? I doubt Ashley is going to walk (he hasn't gotten to this point in his life/career by walking away from things like this) and I have a sneaking suspicion that if things are good on the pitch, all of this fallout will blow away - no one will care anymore. No one is going to stand outside of SJP while we play entertaining and winning football inside - the Ultras can't even do it against Hull City.
