For me he is.. i mean feel bad for the lad, easily our best player last season (albeit he didn't have much competition), our topscoring striker this season and doesn't get a start. He would walk into most premiership teams' first 11 imo Overshadowed by owen right now, but theres no definitive proof that the two can't play together

If Enrique can't make the team (meaning N'Zogbia has to stay at left-back), i'd rather have Milner down the right and Emre on the left - rather than have Smith anywhere near the midfield. i'd rather have smith on than butt If we're talking about upfront, then yeah. wasn't just the "oh looky we've lost, i think i'll have another biscuit seen as its only early times" it was the performance aswell which was abysmal- we could have lost 3-0 if derby had any better finishers. we drew against a poor boro side and got beaten by a super-crap-just-got-beaten-6-bloody-nil-relegation-certain team aswell. posting 'crazy' smilies and being non-chalant about dropping a suposed certain 3 points is "crazy' iyam

not many teams challenging for europe have lost against derby....and deserved to lose.. this game has really done some damage to Big sams credibility as a manager; some newcastle fans i know who have been raving about sam's appointment are now calling him another "stupid shepherd appointment" (here comes Ne5)... i personally wouldn't go that far, but our performance was disgraceful and we seriously need to get it together if we don't want to end up as middlesbrough-esque midtable side

From those 5 games we've amassed 8 pts, would you have taken that at the start of the season ? If I hadn't looked at the opposition I would probably have said yes, considering 3 of the 5 were away from home and we've had so many changes over the summer. However if you take into account who we've been playing we've been playing you've got to hope things improve a hell of a lot because we've got 3 very tricky games coming up. its not as if we played any big teams though.. ffs we drew against a middlesbrough side that conceded 3 goals to west ham and lost against a sure-to-be-relegated team who lost 6!~! nil to liverpool. beat bolton.. bottom of the league beat wigan.. have titus bramble, and, lets face it, theyre bloody wigan so no looking at our games 8 points in 5 games isnt good enough

our entire midfield was useless... smith, butt, geremi ?? on the field at the same time? Ameobi?? even on the pitch? thats the problem right there... the aforementioned players are all shite we're gonna do a 'leeds'
