I actually proposed this combo to my match mates ages ago. Think Rafa's experience and capability to defend and organise teams and instill the right attitude could potentially be a perfect combo with Howe. It may seem a little counterintuitive, but would give us a secondary tactical approach for when we play teams with a decent attacking threat. Rafa seemingly has a relationship with Staveley too and obviously has one with our fans. I genuinely think it could work.

Bruce and Pardew shouldn't even be in the same conversation. Bruce is next level mercenary, sell your granny for a quid, grade A twat.

Aye, but realistically, the odds of you playing a good side have massively increased since the third round and pretty much always will. We have a 71% chance of playing a PL side in this round. We had a 30% chance in the third round. I mean. I get the point being made and I'm probably being pedantic, but I just feel we're collectively being very defeatist about tonight's game. As soon as it was drawn most folk seemed to give up.
