Canny funny how Middlebrough are so irrelevant they don't have a local rival and they'll be spitting feathers at the SMBs and likewise so will the SMBs at Boro because they simply cannot reach us and yet the SMBs are still trying to claim they'll all be holding hands down Wembley way united in their hatred of Newcastle as they bid for promotion Delewsional marra.
  2. Guy single handedly won us our first domestic cup in 70 years and we're just desperately trying to sell him...
  3. I reckon it'll be a Buona notte for Eddie Howes Mighty Mags.
  4. "They have been English champions four times (in 1905, 1907, 1909, 1927) and FA Cup winners six times (in 1910, 1924, 1932, 1951, 1952, 1955). The club have also won the 1909 Charity Shield, the 1968–69 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup" Oh...and the Dan Burn League Cup.
  5. Sexy AF this...pure Geordie Sandro Liam Gallagher vibes.
  6. I did think he'd given a pen away at least once like. He didn't though. 9/10.
  7. Bruno wasn't shite like. Lead by example on a few occasions. I don't feel anyone was particularly excellent or shite tbh. Stand out players for us were Joelinton, Tino and Tonali. Overall it was a pretty standard PL game.
  8. Doesn't mean it. Longstaff > Sandro.
  9. The cup didn't really come to fruition as it maybe could have but I have to say from images it looked better than in person, I also have the benefit of seeing the plan which was perfectly executed. The busyness around it actually scuppered it. As for the rest, the Eddie Howe stuff was both deserved and obvious but in retrospect - I wish we just did the message on the East Stand personally. That was emphatic in itself (and could have been more). That song means the world to me. Explaining or attributing my experiences of losing both children through night and not giving up hope for a more wholesome life. The song itself depicts a perfect narrative for me (and others) of never giving up hope and is a modern version of my family motto.. NIL DESPERANDUM Anyways...onto the next one
  10. He has grown into it I feel and still has some growing to do into the role of captain I think personally. He clearly always had charisma and has grown a lot of influence as a result but there's other elements that he needs to round off I think. Only natural though.
  11. Aye 3 or 4 from Wor Flags and Bill from the Irish club. Looked like some sort of tribal king. He stood there for ages looking unfazed. Got some good photos of them.
  12. I'm always like this anyways...but genuinely feel that we'll hit some amazing form now. I feel we have a really professional attitude and the one thing that blocks us is confidence, or it has been. Some games we just rock up and look like we haven't had the same swagger. After this cup win, the parade and a bouncing St James' on Wednesday I just feel they'll be hungry as hell to have more of that same feeling.
  13. He's just got that wildness about him like Bruno except Bruno has perhaps settled somewhat being a tad older. If he gets more game time and do well he'll be adored here too. What a time for any youngster at this club though. I honestly believe every one of those players, to a man, love it here.

    Great video this
  15. Haha we've had to have numerous conversations about extending our space and the club duly obliged at the end of last season. I guess online people can sometimes say "in the clubs pocket" etc. And actually it's just not like that tbh. Wor Flags are often quite vocal of issues around ticketing, kick off times, etc. Without even mentioning Mike Ashley's ownership, but yet we have a very good relationship with them and without their physical assistance of access and storage it'd be very difficult to achieve all we do. Above all else though it's fellow fans that make it all it is. The guys who abseiled yesterday are just Toon fans and wanted to do it for us purely out of the goodness of their own heart and for some, thrill-seeking, professional fun. We have had requests from multiple business and have likewise made requests to numerous businesses and organisations to get folk across the city involved, and I think every single one has offered us support, or we have to them in some way to get the things we did, done. The financial contributions of fans are what ultimately enable this too. I thought after the CL displays it was kind of - what can we do now to upscale or go one better? We have had the discussions of pulleys and what not but at present that's difficult to achieve/potentially not worth it if we move stadium. Flares are illegal in British grounds. But what was done yesterday actually took it up another notch, albeit not by only us but with us supporting the lads abseiling. The roar when it went over sent shivers up my spine. Anyways i'll stop waffling just really proud of the group.
  16. Honestly like yesterday felt like some sort of religious pilgrimage
  17. They reckon 300k on Sky.
  18. The stadium. And our sheds and cars etc. But mainly the stadium.
  19. They weren't us like. Tbf. But we worked with them and had our 'normal' punters walking around that roof top doing the medial tasks that had to be done. Fucking shitting myself I was Tha being said...about 10% credit to WF and 90% to Davey, Paul and Chris who were fucking phenomenal today. For me there involvement far outweighs any other depiction of NUfC today. Local lads doing what they do the local team and absolutely desperate to do WFs and the fans proud. Honestly I cannot even describe it enough...immense.
  20. I must find out the name of the company who did this with us today. But to Paul, Davey and Chris... I fucking love you lads.
