I can't understand for the life of me why some randomly-selected incidents get looked at after the event, and others don't. Totally unfair and inconsistent. This has always been my argument why video evidence should not be in football. The commentators/co-commentators/directors/editors are all guilty of selectively choosing which incidents to highlight. In short, they're all biased one way or another, depending on their agenda. If you're fine with the likes of Andy Gray and Mark Lawrenson being the arbiters of "justice" and "fair-play" then go down this route.

I'd agree with that if I didn't live half way between Newcastle and sunderland, didn't work with about 75% makem bastards and hadn't been kicked all over at school because of being out-numbered by the inbred fuckwits. ....ONE THREAD...that's all it is... have another look at their pitiful forum if you think we're anywhere near as obsessed.

Now this makes interesting reading http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/blogs/mirror-football-blog/Will-Arsenal-be-Premier-League-champions-in-May-Will-West-Ham-Sunderland-and-Blackpool-be-relegated-Maths-boffins-give-you-an-idea-with-their-Performance-League-predictor-article623411.html

I mentioned this to my mates in the aftermath of last week's game -- got accused of being "gay for Shola" :-[
-
Just gets better and better. All our defenders were magnificent today, but Colo was simply imperious. :colo:
-
Couldn't agree more. I've been bigging Steven Taylor up as our right back, but Simpson was immense today.

....even pre season friendlies....

I've just realised what this photo reminds me of: http://ijustwanttofitin.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/ham.jpg with apologies to the 'tards.

Dunno mate, could be any time in the last 20 years looking at the state of them all. I blatantly stole the pic off another site.

....ain't that the truth. I have a mate who goes all over the world with sunderland (stop sniggering, I'm talking pre season tours and suchlike here) and although he's got red and white eyes, he's usually quite fair in his analysis of their chances. For the past few weeks he's been unbearable, saying they wouldn't just win, they were going to "hump" us - baffling.
-
What the fuck is all this about? The makems get humped so we'll show ratboy scoring a couple of goals to make him feel better
-
No Ratface, the players won't have to face the fans this week....none of the fuckers live in sunderland!
-
They might be able to isn't he supposedly a Sunderland fan ? he is, actually, goes back to the '60's. ...........mind you Bruce is supposed to be a Newcastle fan....hang on...

Barton's best game for us by some distance today, I thought. Early on, before it all happened, I thought he held it all together, our centre halves and midfield looked a bit shakey. Barton single handedly looked class and as soon as we scored, that was it, everyone was flying
-
yup yup x2

Fair play to you. I have lived amongst the red'n whiters for most of my life (Boldon) and none of my my mackem supporting mates have had the baals to contact me since the match finished
-
That was one of the funniest things I've ever seen at the match. Me and the lads round us, were giving him dogs abuse for the ten minutes leading up to his eviction, you could see him getting more and more wound up.
-
Aye, me. Was alright I suppose, bit of a strange experience, but not the first time I'd been to owt like that. Couldn't get tickets for the first leg of the play offs at Roker, so watched the beam back in the City Hall. Atmosphere at that one was tremendous .
-
Aye, I've noticed that. Waddle does it, Gazza does it, they pronounce words like "play" as if they have about five vowels in them.

find out how many times in the past 40yrs these games have gone against form. the times they won up here they were better than us through the season iirc and we went so long unbeaten against because we were the better team for so long. edit....the form book says nowt at the minute between the two clubs either. ....is correct. The only one I can remember going significantly against form was the '90 play off game.We were a far better team than them that season.
