Hopefully it's just makem shit-stirring. I was out with a makem mate last Saturday and he was adamant that Carroll had lamped someone last weekend and was saying it'd be all over the papers on Monday morning (11th).

Benayoun had to go off with a groin strain after Chelsea had used all their subs. Approx 65 minutes IIRC.

Two good pelantys like. Cool as f**k. Why didn't he take the bastard on Saturday?

What a horrendous fat mess

Well he's at the right place now, with a right load of c*nts...

Absolutely spot on. All of them just fantastically celebrated

From a .com match report vs. the makems, nine years ago In an ideal world, whoever played next to Shearer would be capable of shouldering the workload, especially against the quality defenders who will inevitably expose his reduced mobility in coming games. Whether that player is Ameobi remains a big doubt in my mind. Taking into account his often Waddle-esque languidity, he seems to err on the shoulder-shrugging side of easy-going too often for my liking. Just as he had against Troyes, he walked off for his half time cuppa against the mackems having barely featured or threatened. Hopefully a well-heeled brogue was brought into contact with the back of his shorts within said dressing room. Critical praise from the chattering classes and broadsheet newspaper interviews are all very well, and uncle Bobby simply refuses to have a word said against him, but our hyper-active manager looked more energetic and active on the touchline for great swathes of this game than his young striking prospect. Shola's body language when subbed seemed to betray the fact that he thought his time was up for longer than this game, when in fact the continuing saga of Carl Cort's tin legs means he still has senior opportunities. Nowt has changed....

Dunno, but I reckon Turkey were involved.

Was that Liam O'Brien?

I would say that after 206 goals and all the other things that he contributed to our club (assists, leadership help while defending corners, holding the balll up). I am staggered they would even come close to a conclusion that Shearer coming to our club was a bad thing. Most makems favourite player of all time is Gary Rowell.... ...Gary who ? says the rest of the country. They wouldn't know a real legend if it bit them on the arse. they were claiming that Quinn and phillips were better than shearer and ferdinand. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We've had plenty players bought because they scored a rare goal against us, from a Martin Taylor (think that was his name) from Oxford way back in the Awful 80s, to Ryan Taylor now. Taylor has been perhaps the best one, and thats a bit depressing, eh ? I think you mean Andy Thomas? We got him from Oxford.

OOPS! Just voted for Lovenkrands....thought the thread title said 2010-2011
-
Well done lads! ....and is that Andy Carroll with his arm around Steven Taylor's shoulder??

inferiority is drilled into them from the day they are born, they can fight it all thier lives. they can twist and make up things on the internet. But they can't escape the truth that they are a smaller club,-and it eats at them every single day. NAIL.ON.HEAD.

No they haven't. The "Messiah" thing is a media led nonsense, no one apart from them actually calls Keegan, Robson or Shearer the messiah do they? Sunderland actually invented the Messiah bollocks when they so christened Bob Stokoe (ironically a lifelong NUFC fan).

It didn't say trophyless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVWX7VUg5ng I stand corrected...still a bunch of Len Fairclough c***s though. len fairclough......that'll need explaining to the kiddietwinkies on here. I'll wager that's not the first time the words Len,Fairclough and kiddytwinkies have been in the same sentence. that same sentence would also contain the words "pool, out, everybody, the"

This. Anyone who thinks that Bruce is anything other than a Manure fan needs to dig out the tape of the 5-0. What did he say? Did he want his employers to win? Watch the tape (half time summary if I recall correctly) Oh and by the way, Bruce left Manure the summer before the 5 - 0 game

This. McNally has had it in for NUFC for donkeys years. If anyone could be arsed to look, I'm sure you'll find some similar article of his knocking us, even in "those wonderful days under Bobby Robson"
