  1. He looks genuinely afraid to score a goal.
  2. None of our back 4 looked comfortable on the ball Sunday which is awkward because of our propensity to pass it back to them.
  3. He's a classic winger meant to stay wide. He delivers beautiful crosses but his close passes are abysmal. He cost us an early goal against West Brom. A simple square up was behind both players.
  4. Shocking close quarter passing from Fraser.
  5. He'll have a myriad of excuses when he gets tossed. Undermined by players Undermined by press Undermined by management Undermined by fans Not given enough time to implement his tactics and the beat goes on What a farce
  6. But the chair offered his opinion to the EPL in 2017 and that was before PIF ever became involved. And, if I'm not mistaken, the opinion he offered was strictly in regards to the piracy of BeIn's signal. Piracy was always going to be an issue with anything related to KSA so this may not as big a "loss" as it initially appeared. If the results are public I hope that that it mitigates the fact that this guy still will chair the panel.
  7. I'll bet there is no "loyalist camp" and the nonce is making it up.
  8. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so glad Radgie didn't get loaned out in January.
  9. For me, the whole issue on this board is that there are a few hyper positives and a few hyper negatives. Those two extremes argue away but god forbid someone else say something mildly negative or mildly positive then the hypers get all bent out of shape and begin trying to educate us (again and again) why they are right and everyone else is wrong. If the two extremist groups would just shut their festering gobs then the rest of us can just carry on with a genuine conversation. Its opinions. Nothing more.
  10. This post is a flaming bag of shit. You don't have to ever have taken any negativity classes to question the potential sale of this club to PIF/PCP. Anybody with any sense would question a deal that has: a) Gone on for a year with no discernable progress. 2) Had the governing body nix the deal. iii) Had the principal partner publicly move away from the deal after that. IV) Had the prospective seller sue only for damages because the deal was nixed.
  11. So typical of Ashley: he could have spent, say, 50m(or less) to save himself 100m and instead he sat back and did nowt. He could have sacked Cabbage and promised a 40m+ warchest for reinforcements in January. Yeah, January is not the best time to spend money but a 2nd striker and another dynamic midfielder could have been bought. Imagine if we had bought Sanson along with loaning Willock? Imagine if we had another striker behind CW? Imagine a competent manager coming in before January and started implementing what Jones has done? It just underlines how impossibly stupid Mike Ashley is. Literally his own worst enemy.
  12. Come April Miggy, ASM and CW will be like 3 new signings!
  13. As much as I've criticized him I still search for positives in his play. Right now, anything he can give us we need.
  14. March is setting the foundation for April. Really.
  15. Tone deaf, clueless...I mean, name the negative adjective and he's it.
  16. How many current players really think he's a great, or even good, man manager? They may just be saying it. Just the fact that Jones has come in to improve the club tactically has to be a loss of face for the cabbagehead. How can he look his players in the eye when its obvious his prattling about tactics made him look an arse.
  17. Might have been the worst weekend of officiating I've seen in a while
  18. We're shit and going down. The injuries will be blamed but the truth is the dice have already been cast. Keeping Bruce and doing just one loan in January was the harbinger. I think we need a miracle.
  19. I don't think the PIF/PCP deal will go through. The prospective buyers have been battered at every turn. I would like to see it happen though. A holistic approach to improving the clubs infrastructure and the surrounding areas is, of course, very appealing. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity who's time has passed. I'd happily be wrong though.. I'd give the American with the "Red Bull" approach a shout . I don't think he'll move until Newcastle avoid relegation though unless MA will sell at a Championship price.
  20. He’ll be in the bath with it as we speak Can just picture him getting in to be greeted with this. Nee eye contact: "No Steve, don't bring the offal to bed. Not tonight."
