  1. Looking . That's is far as it will go . May advance to the monitoring stage...
  2. I may be mistaken but Yedlin was at his best when he was overlapping Ritchie on the right. He's got great pace and when he went well forward Ritchie had the sense to track back and cover for him.
  3. around the 1st team: ASM, CW, Almiron, Schar, Lejeune, Lascelles, Dubs, Hayden squad players: Lewis, Longstaffs, Darlow, Dubs RB Lascelles Schar/Lejuene LB Hayden CM CM Almiron ASM Wilson I know Almiron isn't comfortable on the right but he's just gonna have to get used to it as I feel that's where he can help the team the most. The midfielders have to be industrious and clever players and I'd want the offense to run through them. In FM parlance one would be a BBM and the other would be a slightly more advanced playmaker.
  4. I can't judge him negatively in this shambles of a club. He's no where's near elite but he is a top half PL quality CB.
  5. The club has to get more athletic going forward. Shelvey and Ritchie should have never gotten extensions. As much as I like what Clarke has done, neither should he. Manquillo, Krafth and Yedlin have to go. Dummett needs to go. The Longstaff's can stay as squad players but the midfield desperately needs an upgrade in both intelligence and athleticism. Most of all, Brewce has to go. The Longstaff's have regressed under him. Lewis hasn't a chance to develop under him never mind all the youngsters who will get stunted by his cabbage-headed tactical noir. The club is an absolute shambles and is near complete and total collapse.
  6. Shelvey has been stealing a living here for years. Rafa knew it and kept him out of the side. Ol' Cabbagehead comes along, reinstates him, then gives him a fat extension. It's criminal, really, that this dick with ears is still playing here.
  7. Cabaye had an agile mind though and could read the game. Jonjo is slow and slooow if you know what I mean.
  8. "I told the lads it was time to take the gloves off. Instead, they dusted themselves down."
  9. But how is he with the basics?
  10. Bruce: Hi Lee Charnley: uh...hi...
  11. Tiote wasn't too bad with the ball at his feet, he could definitely get himself out of trouble, but he was never one to pick out a pass.
  12. yeah....cabbage head is sliding into that #1 spot
  13. Kinnear was bizarre. The sheer lunacy of his appointment is enough. Carver was a sack of shite but he was just a caretaker. Bruce is an ignorant dinosaur through and through. He's got a cabbage head and a noodle spine. Schteve McLaren was another taken off the scrap heap who delivered exactly what we expected of him: nothing. Pardew had some good times but he had some talented squads. Without knowing the man you would have thought we'd be pissed when he left but we cheered. I voted Kinnear but only because I try like hell to erase Bruce from my conscious thought.
  14. Hopefully a step towards resolution and the takeover eventually being approved. It has to be ok'd before the summer, it has to.
  15. I chose not to record this as I'm at work so that means they'll probably play a blinder. Nah...
