I thought overall that he did a very good job...as a scout. Where the issues began is when he was asked to become more than a scout. He unearthed some real gems but he needed a stronger football person to report to. If he and Rafa can't work together it's better that he leaves.

Rafa is here, he's staying, Ashley is gonna back this manager again NOW and is slowly learning that football up here is not just about business, its passion. i for one hated Ashley at one point but the bloke is turning it around when so many clubs are run by tossers, credit where it's f***ing due i say If he can stay out of the way and let a football man make the decisions I'll start to give him props. He's got to prove he can do it over an extended period of time, though.

Almost two years since I've dealt with cancer and as a survivor, I'm not happy with the message. It takes a lot to offend me and this surely doesn't but if you want to do something to support the fight against cancer don't combine it with a jab involving a rival team. Do one or the other. I feel for the kids. My surgery was the easy part. Radiation and chemo kicked my ass though. I'm doing ok now but in my mid 50s the treatments changed me. Can't imagine going through it as a child.

I sure hope he had some fun getting to look that way.

How do you work that out? That result just shows how s*** we are when we have a few key players missing.
