I read that for no apparent reason one of Siem's eyes fell out and when he reached down to pick it up his arm fell off. I think he'll be out for a while...

I'm slightly encouraged by Rafa's comments. I'm still concerned, too.

Stupid, stupid asses.

Gibbs 8M, Delph 12M and Ben Arfa free would be grand. That would just leave a striker? -

No worries. Krul, Saivet, et al are like new signings! -
He looks like a dick with ears.

I thought overall that he did a very good job...as a scout. Where the issues began is when he was asked to become more than a scout. He unearthed some real gems but he needed a stronger football person to report to. If he and Rafa can't work together it's better that he leaves.

I have to say I take this personally. Every time I've tried to buy the club it has been on the up and up. I will try to purchase the club again...I just need to find Barry Moats phone number...

RIP Cheick. I'm stunned and still don't quite believe it.

Looks like he got his nose broken while sniffing ladies bicycle seats. -
IIRC, he played much more centrally when he came to us and he was moved outside by Pards because of his pace and his power. Maybe he just needs to move back inside and play box to box.
-
or maybe he just didnt understand football? he won't be the first chairman to f*** it up, look close to home, and nationally look at Blackburn. whatever you thought of Ashley we are in a healthy position NOW, yes he failed many times with crap appointments and many will never trust him but do you seriously think he wants us to fail? really? the vast majority of chairmans want the club to make money, period, Ashley is the same but lets give him a bit of credit now ... £80 million he sanctioned to SM and co recently £50 million to Rafa and more to come so whatever his stupid meddling with daft stuff at the club got us all riled with he is NOW attempting to put it right. Rafa is here, he's staying, Ashley is gonna back this manager again NOW and is slowly learning that football up here is not just about business, its passion. i for one hated Ashley at one point but the bloke is turning it around when so many clubs are run by tossers, credit where it's f***ing due i say If he can stay out of the way and let a football man make the decisions I'll start to give him props. He's got to prove he can do it over an extended period of time, though.

Almost two years since I've dealt with cancer and as a survivor, I'm not happy with the message. It takes a lot to offend me and this surely doesn't but if you want to do something to support the fight against cancer don't combine it with a jab involving a rival team. Do one or the other. I feel for the kids. My surgery was the easy part. Radiation and chemo kicked my ass though. I'm doing ok now but in my mid 50s the treatments changed me. Can't imagine going through it as a child.

Charnley apparently on suicide watch. Police will provide him extra shoelaces, sheets and a scarf, as needed. -

How do you work that out? That result just shows how s*** we are when we have a few key players missing. If Rafa was trying to make a point that we need to spend, that performance couldn't have done it better. Rafa: I need to get a few over the line if we're going to hold our position in the league and make a cup run. MA: We don't care about cup runs. LC: Yeah, we don't care about cups. -
