2 games and a fine is probably about right. He'll not do that again in a hurry!

173! Only missed

you can bet that the poster called 'Davve' tried to enter 'Dave' as his username and was probably quite disappointed that it wasn't available.

This isn't the game to drop Jonas, imo. I'd like to see Krul; Anita, Coloccini, Taylor, Santon; Jonas, Tiote, Cabaye; Marveaux, HBA, Cisse in the fabled 4-3-3. However, this could well be the game where we play with two in the centre of the park and get howked, leading to Pardew finally realising that winning points > keeping Ba happy.

So next comes the arrogant, old, fat long ball manager? Kinnear please.
-
The midget ball boys and girls has been a problem for years. Absolutely no point in them sitting there when more often than not, our goalie has to gallop thirty yards to collect the ball. Atromitos you'd think were a German side, such was the efficiency of their ball boys and girls. They were like lightning.

You're right, but his injury record is still by and large fantastic. I think that's certainly part of the reason the board were happy to shell out on a new long-term deal for him - that, and his consistency and the fact he's shown absolutely zero signs of a decline.
-
People are forgetting that Tiote generally plays shit for a few games if he's been out injured, before he then starts to play like we know he can again.
-
I'd love it if Rodgers got the boot before Christmas and they appointed Marty, that would be so so fucking good. The ball... his groin... it would work on so many levels!
-
I'd probably start with Shola in this un, fwiw.

3-1 home win, Ben Arfa to score for us.

Gaƫl Bigirimana rejoins Coventry on a permanent basis

I kept on reminding myself "This guy is 18" because he played like someone with a lot more experience. Someone else said it the other day, but even after his first few iffy passes he never stopped asking for the ball and never hid, which is very encouraging. Dat block, also. Glad MOTD highlighted how good it was. -
7 fold, Inter let me down. Was 35/1. Ffs

Today was a game for Marveaux or Amalfitano or even Obertan if we insisted on the 4-4-2(ish) shape. We shouldn't be trying to 'graft' our way past teams like the current Villa side.
-
There are people who'd take Keegan back right now? Fucking hell. He's been and gone far too many times. We've finally got a bit of stability. Can't believe it.
-
He doesn't seem to lose the ball as often as he did at the start of last season, imo. I think Pardew's drilled into him that as well as tracking back, he needs to be a lot more economical with the ball - and he is, but without sacrificing any of the other elements of his game.
-
Dunno if it's just me who thinks this, but the last 20-25 minutes of this game were absolutely desperate for Shola.
-
So, if you were 18 and you were being paid a large sum of money... you're saying you wouldn't buy a flash car? Rubbish.
-
This is really really poor.
-
Is there a problem with getting 's' words wrong at the moment? Shrewdness clearly means shitheadedness.
-
Yeah, I'd say that's fair. They're both going to be absolutely excellent keepers in a couple of years time.
-
Personally don't think there's too much between Ginger Lad Off Corrie and Krul, although Krul seems to be ever so slightly more consistent.
-
Not a great deal of experience in that defence. Bannan is a cracking little player, though. Anita will need to keep a close eye on him.
