Can we please get Trippier off set pieces.

Gordon, fucks sake man.

Into these paella-eating wannabe Mexicans.

Above all want to see Gordon give us a disciplined 90 and absolutely slog his guts out given he's got the weekend off. Would be a good night for Elanga to truly arrive in our colours too. Hopefully a bit more space for him on the counter and he can use that pace of his to good effect.

Born in the 30s.

It'll catch up with them eventually. They can't keep on doing it forever.
-
Blimey, great counter attacking goal. 2-1 Palmer
-
If they get to 5-0 they should change it to the Birdie Song.

The Bayern goal music when played against the backdrop of an angry opposition manager never fails to amuse.

Apparently they're stricter for pens in the Champions League than the PL according to Clattenburg. Someone clearly forgot to tell that bald cunt at PSG the other year.

Yeah, I think Gordon will fill in for Woltemade in the main & Osula will be used as a late "chaos option" if we're chasing the game, like Liverpool. I don't see him getting many minutes if we're winning late on.

Finally got my captain pick right this week - Haaland doing the biz.

The defending there Ruben Alsoran doing a sterling job.

The Aguero goal - was in the students union & they had both the Man U and Man C games on different screens. The Man U game finished first, all their fans in their red shirts came running over to where I was sitting near the Man C screens, a minute or two later the goal went in, every non-Man U supporting person in the place went absolutely mental. Was class.

Donnarumma's had one hell of a paper round. Looks about 50.

Amorim just needs more time IMO. A few years should do the trick.

Disgusting scummy flukey bastards.

Decent point for them today. They have had fairly gentle fixtures so far but they've got a good return from them. Time will tell but so far they look like the one of the promoted three which has the best chance of stopping up.

Result was all that really mattered today rather than the performance - we just needed a win and we got it. Barca will be some occasion, where it's more about the night itself than the result necessarily, but it would also be nice not to roll over and be tickled by Bournemouth on Sunday week for a change too.

Thought he did well considering the lack of team training time. Can't argue with a goal on your debut & he didn't waste much at all, seemed very tidy with the ball.
