4 goals in his last 300~ minutes (9 appearances) in all comps going back to his header against Ipswich last season. Still looks raw and a bit naive with fouling his man etc. but gradually the goals are starting to come. Small sample size & two were against a League 1 side, but if he can continue that kind of rate across sporadic appearances as a sub or occasional starts he'll be a really useful player to have.

He's picked up the NUFC party piece of overhitting or underhitting set pieces pretty quickly. Remember him putting in a perfect free kick for Murillo to score against us at Forest, where's that gone? Still worried he's all pace and nae technique but his pace is so frightening I think he'll come good eventually.

Serious enough lineup that.

Why are Southampton persisting with playing out from the back with Alex fucking McCarthy in there feel like he was pissing away goals with shit passes for them about five years ago.
-
And spawny fucking cunts X2, put on a plate for them by the opposition.
-
Spawny fucking cunts. How didn't they score there FFS.

Arne Slot looks like he put his head in the Shine-O-Ball-O.

"That's very upsetting of course. It's a sad story, but that's why we're reiterating - if you want to come and see a game, buy directly from the club." If it was as easy as that, don't you think people would be doing that instead of forking out 10x the original price of a fucking ticket? Imbecile. (not you @Groundhog63!)

As well as being a very good goalkeeper, he was a really likeable player during an era when we had very few that were. All the best to him for whatever comes next.

Was looking for someone to replace Tielemans, had about £0.8m sat in the bank and couldn't believe how cheap Kudus was. In for a home game versus Wolves.
-
I think he'll play a half against Bradford.
-
Loads of our players were giving the ball away constantly yesterday, but I can't really recall Miley doing that at all. He was steady and looked composed, I thought - certainly the least of our worries without it being a performance to write home about. I'd play him against Bradford as well. We're going to need him a lot this season.

If the new set piece bloke's idea is to surround the keeper with all our tallest players, then hit the first man with the corner, he's doing a superb job.

Would imagine we see Ramsdale, Lascelles and Krafth come in for a game here. Maybe A Murphy and/or Ashby too. A chance for some of our out-of-form forward players to regain some confidence here, hopefully.

Two lenses you can put on things really. Four clean sheets in five in the league. Look solid in most games and even 2/3 the goals against Liverpool were a bit unlucky with deflections/ricochets. Woltemade looking promising in transit, team still gelling, he's got the base right and the goals will come. Wissa, Gordon & Ramsey to come back into it. Pope, Tonali and Burn playing out of their skin. Looked decent against a very good Barca side. 1 win in 8 going back to last season. Loads of players - Barnes, Gordon, Willock, Joelinton, arguably Bruno - look horribly out of form. We haven't scored in 5 of our last 7 league games. Elanga looks a poor signing on early evidence. Barely threatened the opposition keeper away from home all season. The squad doesn't look equipped to deal with the fixture list as they'll either be tired, or we're forced to play far inferior players. In my view, probably a little from Column A and a little from Column B. The lateness of our transfer business means the work Eddie would have done in pre-season with the newer lads if we'd acted early as he asked is still happening now. The Wissa injury and stupidity of Gordon have left him in a difficult position. However, he doesn't seem to know what to do with Elanga and we aren't creating much. We seem to empty the tank in the bigger games and look poor the game after. After last season I've got faith it'll come together and that we'll start looking better and winning games. It's just a bit tough to watch these low quality away games where we don't look interested in trying to score.

Useless wanker Robert Jones. Thiaw should have walked, we should have had a pen, and those two late free kicks he gave them for a blatant dive and a ball blasted at someone's hand from half a yard away - all disgracefully poor decisions.
-
Happy to take a point at a venue we traditionally crumble at, but it might be nice if we were remotely interested in scoring a goal away from home at some point. Absolutely garbage going forwards yet again. Elanga so far (and it's early) looks to be a concern. Manager reluctant to use him & offers very little when he does play.
-
Not sure how he's meant to score playing in a side that have no interest in attacking for most of the game. Showed some lovely touches, he'll be good if we get the right players around him.
-
Lascelles you could just about hear the squeaky hinges on the sarcophagus as it opened.
-
Load the box with giants and then hit the first bastard defender, every time man. Pathetic.

Gives the ball away a disgraceful amount. Just offers absolutely nowt.
