  1. That makes it worse for me. He knows we're light on strikers and depending on him, yet lunges into an absolutely ridiculous tackle that's only going to end in a red card. Second time in not too long he's got sent off and let us down, in crap form, personally think he deserves all the shit he gets and more, the fucking moron.
  2. Let down by that thick floppy haired cunt today. Did everything right really and shafted by that and the ridiculous 11 minutes injury time. Got to feel hard done by after two great performances and 1 point. Hopefully the red means we just turn the money hose in and get someone in for Leeds up top.

    Dogawful Officiating

Where did 11 mins come from? I was in the stadium and was expecting a 6-7 job, maybe 8.

    Jacob Ramsey

Looked great I thought. Very encouraging.
  5. Get down the road with Isak please you thick Scouse bastard. Genuinely hope he never plays for the club again. Been crap for over a year anyway. Striker crisis and a goal down and he lunges into a ridiculous tackle like that which he'll never win. Fuck off you shit haired bastard.
  6. I don't necessarily love the idea of Barnes playing centrally, but I wonder if there's merit in swapping Gordon to LW if they're playing a stand in at right back. Could be Endo or Jones playing there and you'd think AG if he's on his game and with his pace could murder them.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

When was the last time we signed a first-team player on summer deadline day? Wondering if it'll go to the wire for a striker & other than loaning out youth players I can't recall any business being done by us on the last day ever
  8. What's the point anymore? Pen given for minimal holding and then a blatant push doesn't get overturned. May as well all go home and just let there be a league of 6 reprehensible cunt teams.

“I can’t say that the team gave up on it, however, defensively we haven’t improved so far,” “I have to analyse myself and my coaches, and ask the question of how we can improve. We’re not getting much of a response at the minute because the goals we are giving away are poor, and that’s been our Achilles’ heel since I walked through the door." “We can keep banging on about it. We’ve still got a week to go (of the transfer window), so can we improve our squad. We’ve brought in two centre halves, two new goalkeepers and two midfielders, but it doesn’t seem to have changed anything just yet." “We will keep bashing away at it, and hopefully we’ll come through this frustrating thing for all of us. Trying to keep a clean sheet is a big, big problem for us." “It doesn’t get any easier but I’ve seen signs today that we were better than what we have been. We had a few people back which can always help us, but of course we’re missing our two strikers which is always going to be difficult." “Unfortunately, we’ve not been able to improve defensively, and not just the defenders or the goalkeeper - I’m talking about the whole team. We’ve got to be better defensively as a team, and it’s something that nagged away at me last year." “This year the frustration is there for all of us, we’ve given a poor goal away two minutes after half time." “You can say anything you want at half time, but we’ve conceded again straight after. It’s a poor goal, we should’ve defended better than what we did." “As an ex-defender the frustration is I haven’t been able to make an impact because we concede far too many. I know we play with two wide players and two strikers, and that might put too much of a demand on us, but I’ve done that in the past and we’ve done okay defensively." “We have to be better as a unit because we haven’t improved much. I’m never going to come out and criticise individuals, I’ve never done it, but as a team we have to be better, and today there were two or three involved in the goal who should’ve done better with the situation." “We don’t seem to have that know-how of spotting that little bit of danger.”

All week long in the office it's been "we're class, never mind staying up we could get a top half finish, all the new signings are mint, everyone wants to sign for Sunlin, we'll batter Burnley at the weekend, fancy such and such for a hattrick..." well in lads
  12. I like Ally on comms generally, but I wish he'd stop fucking saying "I'm telling you right now" every time he wants to tell us how shoeperb or shenshational he thinks something is.
  13. Trafford's had an absolute shocker there.
  14. Very nearly binned off João Pedro after a completely anonymous display against Palace last week but thankfully elected to make a change elsewhere.
  15. He would have. Laughing stock he was and despite the footy being pretty bleak, we were drawing a lot of games and ticking towards the total we would have needed. We were utterly dreadful under Hughton's caretakership and completely absent as an attacking force under Shearer until the Boro game by which point the damage was all but done.
  16. Can't be long before West Ham cast Avada Kedavra on Potter surely? They're an absolute bag of shit
  17. Matt, I wouldn't get caught being bodied by Sven, mate. Cos there's new signings coming in and top brass are milling about.

Yeah feel like it'll be Begovic - remember him getting a wind assisted goal for Stoke

    Yoane Wissa

Demba Ba had his strawberry syrup, now we have Yoane Wissa:
  20. 30 in 81 appearances for Chelsea. It's a good record that. Chelsea is like a black hole for strikers, whether they do well or not it seems like they come out a laughing stock regardless. He'd fit us well in terms of his ability to press and I think Eddie will be able to get more out of him and we will suit him more than their style of play does. Would be a good signing but I can understand some of the hesitancy about his mentality and finishing ability.
  21. I'd imagine he'll stick around this season as cover and then go. Would be stunned if he got more than 1-2 cup games against lower league sides or a token goodbye sub appearance or two towards the back end of the season.
  22. Bollocks to letting him play in the U21s, by the way. Why should Sean Neave or whoever have their development and game time taken away by this selfish cunt?

    Yoane Wissa

Totally different situation to Isak really. By all accounts he's been told he could go for X fee (£30-35m) this summer and they've gone back on it.
