  1. I very much doubt they'll have seen him play. IRL, yes. On FM, he knows.
  2. I very much doubt they'll have seen him play.
  3. I don't see how choosing not to play a completely untested kid against a really good European side would be seen as 'bottling it'. There's taking risks and then there's just being illogical. I'm not trying to trump Shola as something he's not, but give him his due - he's got a good record in Europe for us and actually had a good game over in Kharkiv. He scored the winner for a start. Shola should and likely will start in Cisse's absence. EDIT: sorry, just seen you said 'bench', as opposed to 'start'. Don't know if that still stands even though you've realised I said bench and not start but I'll explain anyway. If Shola does start, Campbell has to be on the bench, shouldn't even be questioned for me. We simply cannot go into a game without a striker on the bench. What if Shola gets injured, who do we bring on? Regardless of age, experience or anything like that, because he's a striker he really needs to be on there. The pitch should really suit him too which is why I'd personally like to see him get on at some point. They won't know anything about him and getting in behind tired legs in the final 15mins or so could work well for us.
  4. You'd hope that he'll be on the bench judging by those quotes. Wouldn't surprise me to see Pardew bottle it though and go with one of his 'senior' players instead.
  5. Good question, why do you think? Or is more likely he didn't know then? If he didn't know, why talk about him being doubtful for Swansea, not playing tonight because the pitch won't help back injuries and then say he should be fine for Stoke?

  7. Will be very disappointed if Campbell isn't on the bench.

  12. You're doing it all wrong. I thought you were a good gambler because you won a shit load last year but the more I see it, the more it seems that you just lucked out by betting on teams that you like. We and Real did brilliantly last year so you made a lot of money. We and Real have been shit this year so you've lost a shit load of money. That's not a sign of a good gambler. It's a sign of a regular Joe fan who likes to bet on his teams. You should have done what dinho said and bet on no more goals. That's what a gambler betting for money would have done. It seems that you just bet on teams that you like and you don't evaluate why things haven't gone as expected. I mean, Madrid must have cost you a thousand Euros this year yet you still bet big on them. Likewise with Newcastle. If you're going to do that then bet what you can afford to lose and just have a good time like most people on the forum. But if you want to bet for money then I suggest you chill out a bit and seek out good odds, even if it means betting against a team that you like. It's not fun seeing people throw away hundreds of Euros without thinking. Agree. I see this has been disregarded already.
  13. Hence why he's been sacked. What, Ash's hate of him? Dear Mr BBC, Colin Murray is a cunt. Thanks Ash
  14. Aye, not a fan of that, needs to be making more of an effort to get back into position faster than that.
  15. Hence why he's been sacked. Not sure me hating him is the reason for that tbh.
  16. Like mackems yesterday, no need to have you hand outstretched. Probably not deliberate but should be given for defender stupidity IMO. He's stopped a ball going into the box because his arm/hand is outstretched. Whether he means it or not he's gaining an advantage by having his arm there and blocking the ball.
  17. caught out of position loads, even when he knew that position was getting targeted. I don't have a great issue with that if it's due to coming back from an attack, as has been mentioned it's the responsibility of others to slot in for him too - that's something we have to work on as a team. Thought he generally mopped things up fairly well, especially in the first half. Wasn't amazing or anything but certainly don't think he was very poor either.
  18. What did he do that contributed to him being 'very poor' defensively?
  19. He's currently nowhere near the first team and come next weekend will be even further away. Not sure why anybody in their right mind would want him to stay here when it'd be much more beneficial to send him out on loan.
  20. Didn't think he was actually that bad today. Defended well on the whole although he was obviously caught out for the second goal. As Disco mentioned though, others should be looking to fill in when he does go forward (same goes for Debuchy too). We have two fullbacks now who like to get forward, Tiote in particular has to be switched on and not wander too far forward when they do so as he should be the first one looking to drop in for them.
  21. Honestly wouldn't take him here. He's a typical English player, works hard but doesn't have much end product. You're always going to struggle as a striker when you don't score.
  22. No, no. Under. He should be an automatic choice for England. He's fucking garbage.
