Time heals all wounds and that, but to come out with the kind of support Suarez is getting is downright disgusting. Hmmm. I think the Andy Carroll example is more apt. A lot of people on here were all too happy to vilify Steven Taylor at the time of the Carroll v. Taylor fight. Fans are willing to forgive a lot of off field behavior if they player is performing. Carroll was scoring goals and Taylor was (generally) considered shit. Agree with this, fans will forgive a lot if the player is in form. Deson't matter which club it is.

I think Gosling will turn out to be a similar signing to Guthrie, solid player with nothing outstanding to his game. Vuckic will be starting according to my sources Really can't wait to see him in action in the prem for a full game, I think he will do really well (I'm really biased mind).

I really didn't see Blackburn getting anything from this game with Hoilette missing, but they played well in the first half and Yakubu caused Bramble some real problems. The ref missed some clear fouls by Bramble including a pen if I recall correctly. Obviously the disallowed goal is another big decision wrong. Saying all that Blackburn gave up in the second half and Sunderland didn't let their heads drop. It'll be interesting to see if they do better away to QPR with O'Neill's counter attacking style (I've been reading Brummie's posts). Obviously hope they fail miserably this season, but O'Neill is a big upgrade on Agent Bruce.
