  1. We've all dreamed that dream But yeh, we're getting stuffed next week with or without Tiote. It's pointless risking him. Have a lovely summer Cheik
  2. So glad the Premier League has another character. We've gained Luiz and Balotelli this year
  3. Well......technically we could beat them. In the same way that Alan Smith technically could score a goal one day. But we know neither will. 0-3
  4. "Do yer buttons up you faaaaag. You look loike a roight twat"
  5. 10 more points and I'd be breathing a little easier.

    Alan Pardew

I've been strongly against him from the start and I'm still not convinced, but in fairness he's consistently saying the right things. Its brilliant - I'm almost starting to believe them. Of course its one thing to say things and another to do them - but it seems like he's actually on the ball! We've held steady in the league and getting decent results. I'm getting cautiously optimistic about the summer, although that'll only make the pain hurt more. Credit where it's due, Pardew Credit where it's Par-due!
  7. Its starting to get out of hand. One of his very few flaws, but its a massive one......some of the 14 were harsh, but he's missing so many games for us now. He's a great player, but these bookings will scare big teams away this summer. Thankfully!

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Awww man. I don't think I can wait much longer for him
  13. If Man U are very lucky, they'll be one goal up (maximum) near the end. Nowhere near safe enough to effectively reduce yourself to 10 men.

I trust this guy because he spelt banter properly.....oh. right.
  15. They were outplayed in 2009, so it shouldn't go that badly again. Lessons will definitely have been learnt. This'll be a closer, better game but I still see Barcelona nicking it because.....well, they're Barcelona.
  16. Watching Man United's midfield compete with Barca's will be fun.
  17. GuillemBalague Guillem Balague by OliverKayTimes Pepe reina has decided to stay. LFC trying to buy left back, centre back, two wingers, centre mid.he believes in the project.good news for Reds Balague often talks rubbish but this sounds reasonable. This could be taken two ways: 1) oh no they'll definitely be in for Enrique, or 2) with 5 signings being the aim, would they really spend so much on a left back? Can't see Konchesky, Jovanovic etc. raising much dosh.

A pretty entertaining read. Can't wait for the fallout over these 'stories'.
  19. He'd sooner retire than drop down.
  20. In Wigan's case its a good idea gone wrong - they're getting relegated. But instead of doing it with Honduran league players, we'll do it with Carroll, Ben Arfa, Tiote etc because we're a bigger club. The counter-examples to Wigan are Sevilla, Spurs and Lyon (maybe Porto too but they were already big).
  21. Wish they'd offer a non-patched back for those that don't want printing.
  22. I definitely think we could overachieve this summer, simply by using Carroll as an example. "Yeah you could go to Liverpool, to Chelsea, to Arsenal - as a promising player. Or you could play here for 2 years and go there as a superstar." Ideally we'd not be a stepping stone, but if that ultimately gives us the stability to push for Europe, it could secure us a Lukaku or a Wickham.
  23. Comparing it to this year's shirt is like comparing two types of crap.....at the end of the day, it's shit. One glorious day I'll actually buy a NUFC shirt. Looks like it won't be for a while though. EDIT: The back looks OK and the orange away kit could be awesome.
  24. Exactly right. Also, his was the only realistic game plan. If he'd have gone out to outplay Barca he would have got absolutely murdered. Yep its the only way to beat Barca. It mightn't ALWAYS work, but its proven its worth. Didn't work though. Why not have a bit of belief in your players and yourself and get them to beat the best playing football? It worked for Inter and in the Copa Del Rey. It didn't work in the league or these CL games. I agree that with the attacking talent he has, he should've showed more faith: Ronaldo, Di Maria, Higuain, Kaka, Ozil would worry even the mighty Barcelona if they properly went for it. But he stuck faithfully to methods that worked for him in the past. Thats why although it won't always work, it'll work enough times to justify it.
