  2. those Holland shirts are pretty swish i'm guessing the V design in the fabric is a nod to the '88 Euro Championship shirt, the new lion crest looks good too

    Alan Pardew

we can blame fucking Pardew if he's 'head coach' and he hasn't managed to 'coach' his players how to score from corners in 2 years. he's obviously not that good a coach and should be replaced along with the rest of his other coaching staff that said, it should have happened in the summer

    Alan Pardew

team morale and self belief must be through the floor with this bloke in charge. feels exactly like the Allardyce days where we'd lost the match before we'd even set foot on the pitch, then using negative tactics to 'contain' teams. he should have been given the bullet last season after the Reading game, he's had way too long a stay of execution. he's not 'turning it around' and he doesn't seem to be motivating the players anymore
  9. This was the Tony Bastard Dorigo sticker i had f***ing shitloads of http://i.ebayimg.com/t/TOPPS-076-CHELSEA-ex-LEEDS-UNITED-TONY-DORIGO-SAINT-N-GREAVSIE-1988-NGA1-/00/s/NjIwWDQ1MQ==/$(KGrHqRHJCYFBveUECiuBQjSpRd5,Q~~60_35.JPG also gonna add to the list: Roy Wegerle Diego Simeone
  10. Tony Dorigo - those f*****g stickers! Mike Hooper - mike hooper pooper scooper. i remember him being terrible, having rusted away at liverpool before we signed him *edited to fit new thread title
  11. Must have been about 1992 or so when we were kids me and a mate got box loads of old football stickers and albums from the 1990 season for a couple of quid at his local paper shop in Whickham and for me it was endless mountains of Tony f***ing Dorigo @ Chelsea stickers. oddly enough out of all the boxes of stickers we still couldn't complete the f***ing album
  12. some classics from the 90's Alexei Mikhailichenko, Julio Cesar Dely-Valdes, Daniel Fonseca, Nii Lamptey
  13. Shrewd. Ok Sunderland Have Removed Egomaniac Wanker Di Canio
  14. What doesn't help his cause is that his reputation precedes him and that players and referees know this, hence last season against *Everton when Fellaini hit the deck about 3 yards away from Tiote and the referee looks up and sees Tiote in the vicinity so automatically gives a free kick which subsequently is scored from. * - this is what i remember happening, don't remember Tiote actually putting in a daft challenge (on this occasion) He does fly into challenges recklessly far too often though
  15. do i remember Sir Les ending the 95-96 season playing with a broken toe?

  18. Got a lot of time for Sir Les. I was gutted that he didn't lead the line for England at Euro 96 when Shearer was in a shocking run of form for England prior to the tournament. Was devastated to see Les leave the club as he was a great player and a really likeable bloke, I think he was as gutted to be leaving as we were
