Slimani man. 7 goals in 30 league appearances so far. He's hardly gonna start setting the world alight. Crap signing and stinks of relegation.
-
Think we'll see him against Brighton. I'd like to see him in there with Merino. SURELY, Diame can't still be starting.
-
Absolutely bottled our best chance of the match tonight. Clean through and went down. Championship level striker, yet I'd still start him V Brighton, which says it all.

New balance sheet champions. Fans must be delirious.

Part of me is thinking that maybe it's done, but we wont make it official until after January. If it's announced prior to January and clubs get wind of an obvious cash injection, we could get stung in the January market. Could be keeping our cards close to our chest for the sake of spending in January. Wishful thinking maybe like. -
Tortured Zabaleta today. Very good. I really like him, he's improved no end under Rafa. From a bit of a headless chicken to a genuine good PL winger.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Ancelotti to Brazil

On the other side of the coin, how we laughed at Hodgson, Allardyce and Moyes when they were appointed. Allardyce has won 4 out of 5. Moyes has pulled West Ham out of the relegation zone and Hodgson at Palace has been quite remarkable; No losses in 7 now, despite losing their first seven games. Whist there is some absolute nonsense in the media regarding British coaches, it seems thus far, those three clubs have made the correct choice in picking experienced British managers. -
I think its the same problem we have seen with Shelvey last time we were in the PL. He's shite in a team on the back foot. When we're dominating teams, and he's got plenty of options going forward then he's class. If we're having a go at teams he's able to pick passes at will and has the space and time to play balls through then he shines. However if we're looking to hit teams on the break, defending and transitioning from defence to attack with pace, looking to catch teams out he's fairly useless. Can't cover much ground and press players, doesnt drive forward and get into goal scoring positions and isnt great defensively. While he's not a luxury player, he doesn't really fit in at the moment.

Arsenal haven't won in 3 and have looked sluggish for me today like. Not much to be patting ourselves on the back about today -
He's never looked remotely competent though has he. Elliot isn't great like but he's not a complete liability like this lad.

Caulkin is the best out of the lot. Douglas and Ryder are a pair of glemps. Edwards is a tool as well. -
