If ever something summed FIFA up it is this tournament like. Prices, schedule, the fact that nobody is interested, 'qualification'/invitations based not on merit. Won't be watching a minute of it and I really hope it flops.

Southampton vs. Newcastle United: 25/01/25 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

These have looked more spirited in recent weeks. Potential banana skin but we should have enough about us. Reckon Miley could be an option. Certainly better in possession than Joelinton. Tonali, Bruno and Miley could absolutely control the midfield but I'd be worried about a lack of mobility. Think Howe will stick with the same team. -
Havertz is clearly a good footballer but sort of fits into that category of languid creative player who is neither here nor there position wise, so doesnt really fit into a system. Someone described him as a nine and a half, which isnt really any good.

Win the next two I reckon, hwtl -
Yeah he has to be done at this point
-
I reckon theyll go up this season based on not much.

Id take DCL on a free if his wages were reasonable. Howe would have his work cut out though but we've seen how proper coaching can improve a player. He's a poor finisher like. Not scored since September. The Everton Da's hate him like. Not sure if it's his footballing ability or him prancing about with handbags that irks them more though.
-
Another two years left on his contract like. Drop in wages might not be worth it for him.

I think Mbuemo is the real deal like, but I think youre looking at north of £65m. 50M is surely wide of the mark for proven top quality PL right winger. I think the club will also still be wanting a top quality centre half by the time next season starts, a keeper and a backup centre forward. I'm not sure they'll have the money. They've been great and i think Burn has been our player of the season behind Isak but he'll be 33 by the time next season starts.

Having a go at someone for clapping 'too loud' at a football match is truly beyond belief like. I was going to say, where do these people think they are? The Theatre Royal? But I don't even think someone would have a pop at you there for clapping too loud for fucks sake.

The money is good. Pretty decent signing overall. Certainly played his part. Was a big part of our resurgence under Howe and our 4th place finish.
-
Must have been a shit offer. Decent offer and I'd shift him. We're going to have to sell someone at some point like.

Mcmanaman is like listening to someone's mam commentate

Nah fuck it. NUFC above all else tbh.

As much as I love them crashing the top 4, we need Forest to stop winning like if we're gonna finish in the CL places.

Walloped us 5-1 last time we played them in the FA Cup didn't they? -
Really want a Man Utd win here for possibly the first time ever

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)
Doctor Zaius replied to Ronson333's topic in Football
Id like to see him more in games where we dominate the ball. So assured in possession. -
Iplayer is utter shite. Glad I don't pay my tv license
-
They'll stay up but it would be glorious if he relegated them
-
Even if he does come back in February, he's almost 33 and barely any football since 2023. He'll be a shadow of his former self. Ideally we'd be looking at a striker in January, regardless of his injury status.

Think Potter is a great appointment. Forward thinking coach who did a tremendous job at Brighton. Mourinho odds on for Everton. Would keep them up at least, which is all they really need for now. Unlikely imo but could still go down under Dyche. Has Mourinho ever managed a team that isn't expected to compete at the top end? Would be interesting to see how he gets on. His style might be suited to dragging a club into the top half.
