  1. Chicago style for me. Think theres a place in Manchester and one in London but basically nowhere does it in the UK. Would love to eat what I had in Chicago again. Chicago Town has a lot to answer for given the Pizza Pie's reputation.
  2. Hope we actually do sign another Italian. Can any of our squad speak it? Perhaps Schar, Krafth was there.
  3. How do you know he isn't happy to take this opportunity? If he's as driven professionally as he is he is on the pitch, hell want to win it all. He might well feel, having already won Serie A, that there's not much more he can do at 4th favourites for the title Milan. It represents a good opportunity, potential to win something even or, probably what he's thinking, stepping stone onto the world's true elite by playing in the best league. It's a hard pill to swallow, but for ambitious footballers, there's more to their career aspirations than playing for the club they support, we know all about that.
  4. Really hope he's joining for the right reasons and isn't being pushed into it. If it's true. I's a good move if he has the drive and professionalism to reach the top. It's not if Milan are pushing him into it for financial reasons or he just can't turn down the money. Not that this has been suggested, I'm just scarred by the likes of Luque and Thauvain. Encouraged by reports about his willingness to join however
  5. Imagine the utter fume amongst Italian football/Milan journalists if this came off. The salt, oh man, the salt.
  6. I can just about accept the argument they're targeting high profile muslim players with a big followings with the signings so far but if Hudson-Odoi goes, its blatantly obvious something has gone on behind the scenes.
  7. Cant see this one being a goer.
  8. Dodgy as fuck this Chelsea stuff like.
  9. Very frustrating seeing Chelsea get rid of their unwanted players. Koulibaly and Mendy have been absolute disasters, Ziyech didnt score a goal last season. Koulibaly has another 3 years on his contract and Mendy another two, same for Ziyech. There's no way any club was going to come close to matching their salaries. At best, they'd have been able to loan them out, or move them on while still paying a significant portion of their wages. Now, they're going to get rid of their wages completely, due to these Saudi clubs buying them. Getting ridding of these three, and Kante, who are all the wrong side of 30 is absolutely ideal for Chelsea and it puts them in way better nick.
  10. Steve Cooper because surely nobody is riding him by choice
  11. The Chinese League also had a limit on how many foreign players could play for a team. I don't know if Saudi does. Left CL Porto to join Championship Wolves, now off Saudi Arabia at the peak of his career.
  12. Its probably a generalisation but players from Southern Europe particularly Italy are less likely to want to move to the North East of England. Its just so wildly different (especially if you're from Sardinia) and there's less pull given that Inter are a massive club and you dont have to move from Italy. Its not the same as South Americans who basically have to play in Europe. I think there's a reason why Italian success stories in the PL are few and far between.
  13. I cant see this one happening. I dont like Edwards at all but I dont think he's winding folk up. Clearly, he's heard that we've made an enquiry for Barella, whether thats through his agent or Inter and wed be willing to spend 50m. Thats very much believable, Barella fits what we need. The Telegraph have put the word 'close' in there to generate attention and clicks and it makes it look a lot further along than what it is. The 'player will need to be convinced' line is doing heavy lifting akin to that of Ronnie Coleman. There's no suggesting we've agreed a fee, or any suggestion that the player has any interest in coming. Feel like this will go quiet as like the vast majority of enquiries we make about players. I'd be surprised if he wants to come here, Sicillian born and playing for the CL finalists. I certainly hope we dont throw money at him in an attempt to convince. We need players who want to be here. Mind, he might well fancy it and if he does, that would be unreal.
  14. Really, really hope this doesnt turn out to be right. The satisfaction of Edwards is not worth us signing anyone I'm afraid.
  15. Baldwards talking hoop, bet ya.
  16. Hopefully he gets plenty of opportunities. My first thought was its quite a step up going from 17 games in the Danish league to the Dutch title holders.
  17. Best song we had all season was Gimme Gimme Gimme a striker from Sweden but ive never heard it actually sang outside wonderbar or wherever it was
  18. You have to question the ambition of any player preferring Spurs over us at the minute. London is obviously a better place to live as a millionaire, but is it as good for the career, where marginal gains have never been as important? Two England caps and one FA Cup, I'd have thought adding to that would be more important than living in London, where after you're done in 5/6 years, you can live for the rest of your life if you want.
  19. The Bundesliga must be the most pointless 'top' league in the world like. Bayern win it every year and then sign the best players from whoever finished second. Quite often on a free. 11th in a row now and theyve signed Dortmund's left back for nowt. Waste of time entirely.
  20. Could you be arsed. Sounds wank.
  21. Whats more certain than a first hand source inside the club?
  22. Would be daft to move to either of those. Forest will have a better season than both of those under Cooper. More of a settled squad, with a few smart additions will see them around the top half I reckon. Front three of Gibbs-White, Johnson and Awoniyi is good too. Cooper is way ahead of Moyes or Dyche.
