Because he was sat with us, he'd hear the fans slagging Allardyce, so he sacks him and appoints Keegan. His biggest mistake was then appointing Wise and then giving him too much influence. Ashley has made mistakes but he has lost a hell of alot of money. Personally I couldn't give two f***s how much money he's lost. Hmmm....I'm not sure. Some see this as a knee-jerk but I beg to differ. I think we will be very lucky to survive a season in the Championship under Ashley's 'stewardship', tbh. But at this stage I would just take basic survival, yes. I've been thinking about it for longer than just this evening and with the mess (and potential implosion we face) our club is currently in survival is key, obviously. A long season awaits us...

I'd be happy (yes, happy) with a mid-table finish....or just survival even. It sounds ridiculous, but what wouldn't surprise me is if we go into the season in the same state we're in atm, only for a deal to be done with a couple of weeks before the window shuts. We'll end up hairing around the place at 100mph and get a manager and a group of last minute signings. This will lead us to a decent season and a chance to stabalise for next season and push on... Wait, that's not sugar...

I look everyday for some guidance to this mystery. To think he turned down 200m last summer from the Man C owners!!! Sheeshh.... Maybe he saw the 3 nil win against Shamrock and thought, well, this team of kids will walk out of the championship with ease. Only problem is it'll be the wrong way. Probably not far from the truth. I actually think they would have a good shot at it. More hunger than half the s*** we have. When the rumours about the JFK return started I was worried because if he did come back hardly any of the kids would get a go and we'd be stuck with whatever s*** he bought. I doubt it. For most of the match we were bloody terrible. We would have got ripped apart against the likes of Reading, Cardiff etc.

Imo the players have done well not to say anything up until now. Its just been absolutely ridiculous! Yes, most of them are a bunch of overpaid slackers, but I'm still sure a fair few of them want to see a bit of direction at the club because most of them know that at this moment in time, no other clubs are interested in them so sadly their futures lie with us. I just cant take it anymore...

Bramble instead of which Faye? Abdoulaye I take it? I would disagree. Faye and Woodgate would be a very solid pairing, imo. Yes, pairing Bramble with Woody would make a huge improvement to his game but Faye is a strong, no nonsense CH as opposed to Woodgate's calmer almost more 'continental' style of defending. Distan-Woodgate, anyone?

It doesn't posses a strong, natural leader like Shearer (Andy Griffin being the closest) in it but with a good manager it would do pretty well I would imagine.

Shearer and decent money. A few additions to the current squad plus a good manager and we'll be flying up the league! The money factor on really kicks in when/if we re-enter the Premiership....
