A very tough one, this. I'd say with the strength in depth we have in nets, and only having two good strikers (1 of whom is injured) Owen just sways it.

We should go all out to win this one, imo. A HOME tie against either Millwall or Crewe is just too good to turn down. I'd go with the team that started Vs West Ham. Maybe replace Jonas with Lua Lua? Thing is, if Jonas is 1 booking away from a ban, and we have sunderland looming- what do you do?- He just cant miss that.

Sounded like he had a pretty quiet game today. He's been a bit too quiet lately and we need some of his spark to get us going at times. But still, he works his bollocks off which is a lot more than some of our other players.

N'Zogbia is a cocky little prick. Previous to this, I felt very reluctant to lose him but now I just want him gone. Yes, we have a tiny squad and we need everyone we can get, but hes clearly a bad influence in the camp and why have a player in a RELEGATION BATTLE in your team. There is no point in it. He thinks way too much of himself as it is....he should take a leaf out of Bassongs book. Plus, its probably just a load of bullshit hype from his agent. If anyone does actually have an interest in him its Villa, but I cant see him leaving this January. Anyway, our main objectives should be to keep Shay and get some midfielders in. Charles is the least of our worries, imo.

With the league table still so tight its impossible to tell who's going to go down. The only obvious contender I can think of is West Brom. Blackburn will pick up and Man City wont stay there with the quality they currently have......its anyones game. But Im feeling very depressed about NUFC atm. And when you look at the rest of our home game to come, it sends anything but positive feelings.

I must say, I will not be happy if we sign Kris Boyd. Him and Ameobi upfront sets for quite a bleak future....

Its simple really: Safe standing sections. We've already got a singing section and it has improved the atmosphere at SJP, even if its not a massive difference. Why the FA wont listen to the fans is beyond me.....all they need to do is follow Germany's example of safe standing and we'll be in business. The Safe Standing would be a bit like non-allocated tickets. For the simple reaon that all the singers would go and apply to stand in the SS section, while all the singers would just huddle together in the non-alloctaed sections....except with more hassle! Safe Standing for me.

Does anyone else think it would be nice to have a 1 year home strip memorial for the 69 Fairs cup winners? A money making scheme yes, but it would be nice to look back on something we've won. Happier times an all that shite.
