  1. Leicester 6/4 to beat WBA. Printing money that imo
  2. Was talking to a close friend of Coloccini's today. Apparently Pardew would ask Colo how to organise the back four, there were times when the players would go to his office to talk to him- only a short matter of minutes after training had finished- but Pardew would have shot off already to play golf or have lunch somewhere. In comparison to this guy knows Pochettino and got to go the a training session a year or two back; it was recovery session the day after a match but Pochettino and his staff were in there from 8am-4:30pm, working. He also said training under Pardew/Carver was a joke- no discipline, intensity....just turn up, go through it, and fuck off home. Absolutely disgraceful, despicable carry on. Whether he wants to work hard or not he knew how much this club means to the region, to people up here. Apparently Colo was devastated to leave us because he'd been trying to push for the club to get a good manager for 8 years and then when it does finally happen he's released! Ridiculous club. I'm sure none of this is surprising, or even new, but just thought I'd mention it. It's absolutely no shock as to why everything he touches turns to dogshit. Not only is he useless and clueless, but he genuinely couldn't give a shit and only cares about a big pay cheque so he can live a flash life and blag his way to a position of respect within the English game.
  3. Don't know why people get so wound up by Crumpy. I don't agree with his opinions on Rafa at all but bloody hell some people need to relax.
  4. It was incredibly poor to hire him in the first place, I don't think they'll care tbh.
  5. Aye, needlessly got drawn in despite the threat of a shot. Baffled as to the space on that farside that was left for Salah to play in. Anytime they win the ball they'll try and play it in behind for him.
  6. I'd love a 4-3 defeat. I'm sure we'd all prefer that than a 0-1 win for us. Love it.
  7. English football is a joke. The fact that he is even tolerated, let alone continuously employed, just tells you all you need to know. Imagine him in La Liga? Or Serie A? Or the Bundesliga? He'd be laughed out. Here he's just met with sympathy and people buy into his bullshit cliches and buzz words. He's utter repulsive. But this is England, and this is the 'Premier League'. You can get away with being him because when it comes to football we are, as a nation, thick as owt.
  8. In fairness they're in flying form atm! mackems haven't a chance
  9. Anyone West Ham will be in danger of going down on the final day?
  10. Quality player is Brunt, imo. So it only makes sense for Pards to leave him out. You can cope against 3 in midfield with a 4-4-2 if you play it the right way, but this cunt hasn't a clue about tactics- 37 year old Gareth Barry ffs in a 2v3 Well and truly found out with this Albion job now. Surely he will begin his fade into obscurity (but then again, this is English football...)?
  11. Worth noting Arsenal have conceded 36 goals this season, we've conceded 38. We're probably going to draw more matches than we win or lose in our run in. As long as it's coupled with a couple of wins we'll be OK as the other teams are shit (as well). Also, Swansea vs Stoke on the last day of the season. That could be big.
  12. Even with the addition of Kenedy/Dubravka (and hopefully Slimani) we can win some key home games imo. It's just inexplicable the whole situation with Slimani, unfuckingbelievable; signing an injured ST on the final day of the window. The performance in the 1st half yesterday was really good, and although we threw it away, it was not the sign of a team going down (but more the one of a bottom half side). As I've said for a while now it will all hinge on Saints/Hudds/WBA at home. Win those 3 and we're safe. Anything less will be cutting it too close.
  13. Doesn't make you feel any better, but if we were offered 4pts from Man Utd/today I think most would've taken that. It's fucking shit, but we're edging closer to the stage now where if we beat Southampton, Huddersfield, and WBA at home we'll be safe.
  14. Insane what one (unexpected) win does confidence-wise I reckon we'll be alright, certainly if Dubravka/Kenedy keep performing and Slimani gets going straight away. I just think you look at how few goals we concede and coupled with: Rafa, our new loans, and how wank some teams around us are, and I think we'll be OK. Knowing the way things work, we'll lose a game we're expected to get at least 1pt from. 2pts from our next two games would be an incredible return imo.
  15. Lose at home to Huddersfield and I think that's it for them, even with 10 matches to play afterwards.
  16. Fucking hell, those articles As much as Souness is a prick I quite enjoyed reading that, thought it was a shame it ended so abruptly! Fucking nuts this club.
  17. Wait until their fans get behind them.
  18. Watched the match in Shark Club bar opposite SJP. At the FT whistle this random bloke and I embraced () and this manc chap in his 20's walked past and muttered 'well done, yer won yer cup final' and walked on, the fucking bitter cunt. As a vocal support/numbers Man Utd are second to none away from home (and so they fucking should be with all that success) but fuck me they're a bunch of cunts.
