It feels as if the whole thing is seeded, but they haven't bothered seeding us. -

Chuck in the 23/24 Champions League Group of death, followed by what Opta have ranked as the 4th must difficult fixture list in the competition this year. -

Good to see the rest of the cartel get nice cushy draws too ensuring even if we did beat this lot, we'd get another hideous draw in the quarters. -

By far the highest tie yet again. Are we actually cursed? -
Man City had a matching rights clause, so when we did finally agree a fee, City were given the opportunity to match it. They did and he chose them.

...but the officials aren't competent and the authorities answer is to increase VAR's scope. So their answer is to double down with more interference from incompetent officials. More standing around in stadiums, less goals to instinctively celebrate, yet more damage to the spirit of the game.

Only us and Brighton have had two all Premier League ties to date. We're due a bit of luck. -
Joelinton has been one of the most important players of the Eddie Howe era.
-
Wouldn't be remotely shocked if him and Anderson were our two primary targets this summer.
-
Was just having a look at his stats for the season, he's averaging a goal or an assist every 173 minutes, so pretty much every other game. He's been pretty useful for a bloke who apparently doesn't suit our style. I don't disagree with the basic critique of him i.e he doesn't attack the penalty box well enough and he isn't smart enough with his frame. It's been compounded by some pretty poor attacking displays this season, where he's simply been left isolated with next to no service. That said, Eddie has spoken at length about his frustration about the lack of training ground time, as well as the need for patience with Woltamade specifically as he builds up his fitness and understanding of the English game. There's a lot to work with too. A well coached Woltamade, who can hold the ball up for our less technical wingers could be a menace. He has wonderful feet, a supeb touch and can play a superbly weighted ball. As above, it's not like he hasn't contributed either. Are we not just doing it again? Barnes, Gordon and Hall were all written off, while Kelly has proven to be a good player at Juve. Woltamade is the latest to be deemed surplus to requirements in a summer where fans were chucking signings on the scrap heap after four months. Just give the lad a bit of time, he's got bags of potential and when he's on it he's an absolute joy to watch.

I'd rather nurture the extremely talented footballer.
-
From the PSG game onward, he's been excellent.
-
Don't know how I missed that, cheers

Do you have a link to the article please?

I thought it was stonewall in real time, but with the benefit of a replay, he might just get a touch on the ball before making contact.

Aye. I think Liverpool v Brighton and our game were the only all Premier League ties? Almost feels like it's seeded. -

Seemingly going to be a stacked R5. -
It's weird, obviously I hope he stays, but I'd be quite at peace if he left on good terms in the summer. It was just the manner in which Isak went scorched earth that made it so maddening.
-
He just never got a decent run in the team. Chances are with Hall, Burn and Botman he never would have, we're a bit stacked in that area of the pitch for someone who's looking for regular minutes. It might have been a bit different if he was a youngster who was just coming onto the scene. Good move for all parties.
-
Kelly is doing really well this season. Not that we didn't get good money for him mind.
-
Good drive up the pitch for the third. Better first touch from Barnes and he's in.
-
At Southampton, Mitchell had a reputation for being incredibly arrogant, but also very good at his job. I guess some managers will tolerate it, others won't.
-
I guess it'll come put in time, but I'm on the fence. The club grew at a decent pace under his watch. Whether that was quality leadership or taking a lot of the open goals that were available to him, who knows.
