Sounded really flat. While it was expected to a degree, given the KO time. It definitely feels that the randomly allocated seats along with the increase in expectation have impacted the atmosphere.

Not seen much of an overreaction, to be be fair. It's a poor day at he office that we need to write off and move on from. We've got one foot in the league cup final and still have a good opportunity to qualify for the Champions League. As long as it doesn't become a run of form we'll be fine.
-
I've said it elsewhere, not to excuse us because we were well off it, but that's potentially one of the best performances I've seen from an away team at SJP.
-
They're a good side, who played very well today. They'd have given most teams a run for their money. On the flip side we were terrible. So many of our better players (Hall, Bruno, Gordon, Isak) had absolute shockers. Hopefully it serves as a kick up the arse. Bournemouth are European contenders by the way, putting them in the same bracket as Palace isn't particularly accurate.

Bournemouth were excellent, but we were terrible, so many poor performances across the park. One to draw a line under and forget about. Onto Southampton.

Hard to tell what's satire from what's pure, unadulterated shit take in here this morning. -
Lovely tribute to Isak with the celebration.

Ekitike looks handy for Frankfurt. Him signing for PSG feels like a proper sliding doors moment in hindsight.
-
Awful city, litter-filled shit tip of a ground and proudly racist fans representing the North East. Pass.
-
Would hardly say Everton "got away with it" mind.
-
Imagine him knocking down those big Kelly diagonals for our midfield to feed off. It'd be unplayable.

Stylistically, Bournemouth are quite similar to us. Great pressers, dangerous in transition, etc. -

I still grimace when I see this phrase after NO's attempts to sour one of our best seasons in living memory. -
Not a fan of 12.30 KOs. Not a Newcastle thing, just a general thing. For obvious reasons they're usually as flat as fuck.

This game aside, Iraola is doing a hell of a job. They're a really well coached outfit and his in-game changes are excellent. Bournemouth themselves are on a nine run unbeaten streak which seems to have gone under the radar a bit. Fair play to them. -
It's only just clicked that it's 115 months long

PSR only allows it to be amortised over a five year period, I think. The Premier League closed the loophole after Chelsea's shenanigans.
-
Can we do that with Isak please?

From .com: "Victory over Bournemouth here on Saturday would give Eddie Howe's side a perfect ten and move them on to 41 points from 22 games - matching their total at that stage in the 2022/23 season, when they went on to secure Champions League football." -

Sounds like they're really struggling with injuries at the moment. Evanilson, Senesi, Araujo, Tavernier, Scott, Sinisterra and Unai all confirmed out. -
Stick him out on the right and play those big diagonals to him. Sorted.
