He'd be third choice I reckon on basement wages to play in the League Cup and fill the bench. I don't want it but I'm looking at how the club will see it and our overall require ments. They might even shift him to Saudi for a small fee mid-season. Personally think it's irrelevant as he will get better offers and go elsewhere.

Don't think it's sentiment at all tbh. We just have a lot of positions to fill in the window and finding a rotation option for Isak is difficult in the market. We'll be seeing if we can keep him around on the mega cheap as a failsafe. I don't agree with it but it's not sentiment. It's trying to navigate PSR as best we can. Think the chances are he'll have better offers from a promoted club or abroad.

Mad to think in January we gambled weakening the squad further by selling two players to give us more breathing space for the summer, while they gambled by bringing in two expensive and experienced loan signings. In the end we've got away with it and their gamble has failed. But Christ it was close. We have got in by the skin of our teeth, on goal difference alone. Not to mention as a side plot that we also won a cup and they messed up their huge opportunity there.

Haddaway man. Until this season the lad was a 1 in 2 striker for us, with half of that playing for and with a load of rubbish. The lad has been crippled by injuries unfortunately but we knew that even when we bought him.

Have him over all our strikers except Isak tbh. And he's better than DCL too.

I can't believe people are even remotely arsed. The end result is all that matters. We won a cup and got CL, what a superb season.
