Newcastle United vs West Bromwich Albion - 09/05/15 @ 3pm (Not on TV)
Nexumaster replied to Stifler's topic in Football
I honestly can't see where people think we'll get points from now until the end of the season. West Brom might not have much to play for but they'll at least be organised, they'll get one goal in the first 20 minutes and realise they've a rare chance to give a clean bumming to someone. "Are Newcastle shit or are West Brom really that good?" is what pundits will stupefyingly ask each other Saturday evening, without questioning just how much the regime has demolished everybody's spirits. 0-2, at best. -
Because it's a huge asset, that he uses for advertising, and he might like watching football? Actually nah, must be because he cares about the club. so he comes to watch us because.............? He owns us and it's a bit of a spectacle. I don't care for horse racing or Moto GP. But if I owned some competitive horses and a motorcycle team i'd rock up when I could. Competitive being the key word. We aren't competitive, so perhaps it's just to make sure all the SD crap is actually visible?

You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

I think Hull, Villa, Leicester and QPR are where we should get the wins but it's never that simple with us. We'll probably fluke some results elsewhere and get bummed by the four I've mentioned. Either way, it's going to be tight as.
-
4 games which are ones we should PROBABLY win, but sweet jesus, I just don't know with JC...
-
New poll. I'm now an 8. He might fluke a win against Hull but JC is going to get bummed by his bezzie mate Pards.

Rémi Garde and the case of the missing art galleries

They show season ticket holders exactly the amount of disrespect as they require. And the season ticket holders will probably thank them for it. http://www.isthmus.com/media/2010/03/15/190diller.jpg -
I went with a 7 a while back (ever the pessimist) but will shunt up to an 8 if Carver is left in charge. I know there are teams who are supposed to be worse than us but I think we'll just deflate more and more while Burnley, Palace, West Brom and teams of that ilk will find that extra bit of belief.

All feels like a ploy to avoid giving a new manager any money. Drag it out until the transfer window is closed and make out it's because they wanted to take the time to make the "right" decision. Arseholes. -

What this all boils down to basically; have some fucking decorum.
-
they are allowed, but they're clearly massively open to abuse and keeping evans out of football has become a thing in itself now imho - if it was a poll of genuine supporters who were always knocking him back then aye fine but it's clearly not assuming those 4k/20k oldham petition numbers are correct it's just nonsense I see your point here but I think you need to look at the repercussions of him getting back into football. Parents, regardless of whether they like football or not, will want to sign the petition if they have kids who like football.

I don't even see this as a joke. It's exactly what he should do. He had a great opportunity, he f***ed it up. Be thankful to be out of prison and put in a shift at a normal, profileless job. He, along with all people released from prison, might as well just go and jump off a bridge based on your logic. Why doesn't he just settle for a life on the dole taking taxpayer's money if he's only allowed to apply for perceived s*** jobs. He has a right to seek employment in any area he chooses. If clubs won't employ him then he will have to look somewhere else, fair enough. This is the point. He's not in a position to be fussy and there is no entitlement. Football has no obligation to take him back and he should be more than happy to work at a 's***' job. He needs to accept he screwed up his career and it's over. this is the issue, clubs clearly do want to employ the man but are being 'forced' not to do so as him going back to football has become such a huge thing in itself when it needn't have been They can employ him, they aren't being forced, they're being told that many people don't agree with it. They have to weigh up what's best for the club. If it means he doesn't get signed then he only has himself to blame there.

Who do we get now? People are taunting me with Tony Pulis...
-
Yeah, same here. Even that results in a response of "but you're winning games/in fifth place/he's doing mint" where I am and I want to fucking punch people.
-
This. As horrible as we are there are plenty others who are worse or just as equally bad.
-
ScoreDraw make them. Be on their website. http://www.scoredraw.com/shirt-detail/?teamId=14 Cheers, yeah they've got it but you can't order online and I'm not in Newcastle.
-
Anyone know where I can get a decent retro shirt with the Blue Star logo on? Don't want to get it from SD for obvious reasons.
-
Lost me with the golf stuff but the rest is spot on. Bargain basement strikers are just such for a reason.
-
Warnock to Palace.
-
Is it not cheap enough to sack this twat now? I'm basically counting down the years until it's affordable to sack him.
