  1. There is fight left in this Watford squad, I don’t think they are down yet.
  2. Can’t wait to play Canada in either the semi’s or final.
  3. Can’t have it, only 2 European teams in the group stage allowed.
  4. Derby administrators say they are not in a position to announce a preferred bidder, saying the prospective buyers have dragged their heels. They have also said that they may have to cancel or postpone their next match if fans continue to threaten to protest at it.

    St James' Park

Good. This is what the club and city needs. I would love for SJP to be turned into a venue that regularly hosts global sporting/entertainment events.
  6. 3, plus a Concussion and a GK on sub.
  7. They have included 2 spots for historical performances, plus another spot for something else. However neither spot will come at the expense of a club qualifying via the league and the most spots a country can have in the Champions League has increased to 6.

Or because they are mackems pretending to be our fans with views that mackems have in order for them to have some sense of validation?

Their geography arguments for fan bases baffles me. On one hand they will say that someone living in North Shields/Whitley Bay, Gateshead, and even Byker have no right to support us because it’s not in Newcastle. Let’s not forget their ‘Newcastle airport isn’t in Newcastle’ line. However they will argue to the end that everyone in Durham should be supporting them. Imagine thinking that someone who lives so close to SJP that they see it every time they look out of the window shouldn’t support NUFC, yet someone in Spennymoor should have a season ticket at the SOL.

He’s so up his own ass.
  11. If they beat Panama tomorrow (well tonight as I type), then they will likely move up to 30th in the rankings.
  12. With tonight’s results, if Canada beat Panama tomorrow, then they will move up from Pot 4, and into Pot 3 for the draw. A draw would mean they would win the CONCACAF qualifying group.
  13. Downing also own some of the student accommodation across the road from SJP.
  14. It depends on what you are asking, are you asking about similar cities, or clubs that play in black and white?
  15. During lockdown him and Kyle Bekker would do live Q&A’s on Instagram. I was able to ask Edgar a lot of questions which he answered. Seems like a really nice bloke. Before joining Forge, he was rumoured to be involved in bringing a CPL team to the Tri-city area, where he is from, which isn’t that far away from Hamilton.
  16. I remember buying Oliver Occean on FIFA and FM and hoping he would turn out to be a hidden gem. He never did.
  17. Don’t they like to have unique designs for each team and have committed to that, with that being one reason why teams choose them over other manufacturers?
  18. A lot to do with some Newcastle fan from Consett.
  19. Canada have qualified for the World Cup. They are also 1 point away from winning the group.
  20. They don’t want that though, because then they only get a guaranteed 1 home game. The reason they want the big league is because they will be guaranteed more games. This and for sponsorship reasons is why the UEFA Cup went from a straight knockout competition to a League format, including the 5 team league format they had where you could still qualify if you finished 3rd, but 2nd placed teams often got a harder draw. It is also the reason why they created the Europa Conference.
  21. Next season’s kit will already have been agreed and possibly already being made. It is likely that it would have been signed off before the takeover was completed.
  22. They already have to an extent with the Champions League reformat. In time the Champions League will gain more money by having more games, and the big clubs in Europe will push for a financial model that rewards them higher than other teams in Europe, like they have done in their respective leagues. The ESL proposals were in actual fact an empty threat to UEFA and their respective leagues to allow the format changes they proposed, except a few clubs didn’t get the memo and took it seriously. Both UEFA and the respective leagues should have taken proper action against them, talking bans from Europe, points deductions in their leagues or worse, instead we let them decide what punishment they wanted to take, and still got what they wanted.
  23. The town centre and some areas around it are. Despite living a couple of streets away from it, until recently I hardly ever went in. They are planning on regenerating some of it and linking it up with the Fish Quay better, however I feel like even then large parts of it will be still quite run down. I believe part of the problem is that the shops are spread out too far for what is required now for a town centre. Like most towns these days, you don’t need the amount of stores there are available, and you have a large number of vacant shops and other shops on side streets where they should be converted back to housing. In addition to this, shop owners are given no incentive to maintain the upkeep of their shops and they look tacky and unkept in most places. I have said it before, but North Shileds is a place you go for cheap bargain shops and stuff, not somewhere you go to sit and have a coffee.
  24. North Shields, and I admit that is also a shithole.
  25. Putin pulls out of Ukraine and they keep Abramovich. It seems like all the options looking at them are consortiums/investment groups who are only wanting them to add to the portfolio and cash in on their Premier League and commercial income, as well as potential ESL money.
