  1. It seems to common occurrence that he spits his dummy out and goes running to the press when negotiations aren’t going his way. He did it the 1st time with Staveley, then with that BZG group, didn’t he do it with some others as well when he very first wanted to sell the club? Now the administrators are saying his offer Ian my good enough and he’s kicking off there. God know how he’ll kick off when Mell Morris wants another £60m for the stadium and the cheap club he thought he could pick up for £20m turns into a £120m outlay.
  2. Sunderland’s stadium and their training ground/academy are a burden financially to a League One team. I can’t see him wanting to buy another club that he has to actually loan money too instead of the fake loans he would make to us in order to take more out.
  3. It’s not much and the living wage needs to be increased, and minimum wage needs to be set at the living wage, but it is something. I’m sure that I have read that the scheme also covers greater employment na rights as well, and also they can’t get around it by using outsourced labour, because that is calculated as well.
  4. Despite being in County Durham aren’t the they actually along the Tyne Valley? Not far South of Prudhoe, would make sense that it would be heavy leaning towards our fans.
  5. It’s on data collected over a number of years. I did study psychology at uni you know.
  6. Yeah, professions such Dr’s, surgeons, high level bankers, and even air traffic controllers all have a disproportionately high percentage of psychopaths within the profession. It’s worth remembering though that only a small percentage of psychopaths are homicidal.
  7. We studied this a little in psychology and the reason why is very much like what Ted Bundy said, a dead person can’t talk. In some places you could get the death penalty for rape, and if you think about it logically, if you are risking raping someone and getting the death penalty, there is little to stop you from going on to kill then because the punishment (death penalty) is the same, however killing someone in addition to raping them may give you a better opportunity to get away with your crimes. Ultimatly though, the only thing really preventing anyone from being a victim of crime or committing crime is if the person committing the crime values their freedom or believes they can get away with it. For the likes of Greenwood, it appears as if he believed he could control/manipulate someone to the extent that they would never reveal his actions, and for a while it seems like that worked.
  8. I’m sure Charnley put a stop to Alex coming in here, otherwise it would have happened. He was close to appointing him at Sheffield Wednesday as well wasn’t he?
  9. Fucking hell, who killed Peter Crouch?
  10. Because he’s shit an a big symbol of Ashley’s reign. A player who Burnley were letting leave on a free.
  11. Be great if we got David from Lille, although I think he is still a year away from being Premier League ready.
  12. Hope the Hendrick deal isn’t a loan.

    Dele Alli

Nah. I just get the impression that he’s not interested anymore. He seems to have had new opportunities at Spurs under new managers and just not been interested.

    Jesse Lingard

    On his way to Chelsea.
  15. He wouldn’t be able to cut it in the Premier League in my opinion. Even David would probably need a year or so over here to start having a decent impact, and I think he’ll become good in time.
  16. Aye, the FA should take it out of everyone’s hands, suspend him until the outcome of a criminal investigation is complete, and if found guilty he should be banned altogether.
  17. The thing is this team was a Championship squad the day it was assembled, it won the Championship by the skin of it’s teeth 5 years ago. We can pin point problems in specific areas but the reality of the situation is that no one is good enough. Our goalkeeper who has been immense is massively on the decline. Our back line is average Championship standard. Our midfield is average Championship standard with ASM being an outlier, but even then he’s not really a team player. You could argue that he doesn’t have a team around him to use, but he doesn’t think make passes when he’s in a situation where you know even he is going to lose the ball. Wilson is a good forward for us, however he is injury prone and that is the reason why he’s at us an nowhere else. He simply cannot be relied upon. As for the new signings, Trippier is obviously class, but one man doesn’t make a team. Wood is decent stop gap solution, but he can’t do much when he’s getting fuck all from the rest of the squad. Long story short is that this team should have been relegated years ago. 2 seasons under Rafa lifted them to a position their ability is nowhere near, and Bruce got massively lucky with COVID impacting both his seasons and us getting that boost each time to stay up. This season was always going to be a relegation fight. We can sit here and say that 2 CB’s, 1 or 2 CM’s and a LB would keep us up. I’m not so sure. Every place in the squad needs a replacement, and then also a back up replacement. We honestly need a whole new 25 man squad, or at least 18-20 if you are being generous. Our only hope is that we somehow keep within each of safety and as the January transfer window rolls on both our club is keen to buy, and selling clubs are less reluctant to sell and that we are able to get just enough in to see us through. Even then in the summer regardless of staying up or going down, we need to basically gut the playing squad. Right now, I honestly do not think this squad would have the bottle to finish in even the play off places in the Championship. Lately though when if we do go down, we simply cannot buy another Championship team, we need to buy a Premier League team, otherwise sooner or later we will be in the same position.

    Diego Carlos

The way he speaks irritates me. He pauses after every word and tries to make it dramatic, it’s literally every word, not even ‘news’, just every time he speaks.
  19. I hope Shelvey and Hendrick try and get a hold of some.

    Sunderland

A week or so before our takeover their supporters including their recognised official supporters club held up a banner outside of their stadium saying that refugees were not welcome. They can fuck off with this faux outrage out of respect of human rights.
  21. Yes, well either deported or jailed with countries that have agreements.
  22. Someone needs to say it’s unacceptable. Losing to a team 2 division at home should constitute a huge fine, I’m talking 2-4 weeks for everyone on the pitch. Absolutely unacceptable.
  23. Derby will not challenge for promotion to the Premier League under him, well maybe if they have a fluke season like when we finished 5th.
  24. This is it. As a company they will be saved, however Mike will have them running on a tight shoe string. He took us from being a club regularly in Europe before his arrival, to running on a Championship budget and ultimately going down twice under his ownership (and still could go down a 3rd time because of him) because of it. Him buying a Championship club means he will run them on a League One budget. Rooney maybe able to get some loans in from his pals, but ultimately he will realise what’s happening and jump ship, if Everton don’t come calling for him sooner. Then people like his son in law and other friends who have no business in football will run the club from Shirebrook or their own homes and there will be no decision made for the benefit of the club. Pretty soon the only people who will touch Derby and who Ashley will touch will be the likes of Bruce and other run of the mill EFL PFM’s like Darren Ferguson etc.
  25. I hope you enjoy it up here, match result aside. Newcastle is a fantastic city and very friendly towards away fans, unlike countless away games I’ve been too.
