Trophy wins every time, nothing beats that feeling... still seems surreal I know what 'that feeling' is

I mean it can't be any worse a launch than this, can it? At least if we use the word 'legacy' and 'tradition it will actually mean something . Still, maybe they're onto something, hope our designers somehow incorporate a reference to Swan House or even Blue House roundabout.

The Europeometerâ„¢ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
maybe_next_year replied to Rich's topic in Football
I feel like the massive problem we'll have next season if we 'only' qualify for the Europa or Conference league is we're still playing catch up from the massive underinvestment under Ashley. All the other clubs around us (Apart from Forest, can't say I know too much about their academy) had money pumped into their academy and youth players over the past decade/decade and a half, while we were stripped to the bare minimum. All the clubs around us are able to find the odd player or two from the academy to make the step up to play smaller European ties, where we have fuck all beyond our starting 11. -
Honestly I thought he was much better today than recently. Dive was awful, obviously, but I think he was better than Bruno today.
-
Hayles hattrick, 0-5.
-
Now 3 goals up, should of focused more on this instead of the disappointment that has been the men's team.
-
0-1, Great ball by Stokes and quality header by Hayles
-
Both teams have a genuine right to be furious. VAR took an absolute age to clear the non-red cards too... don't even know why they paused the game for Murphy's one.
-
Ludicrous decision, how has VAR not overturned that.

This isn't like Leicester, I don't think Crystal Palace have been shite, they've just been completely outdone. -

Literally just shouted "Oh fuck off!" at my TV when Pardew's stupid face appeared on Sky -
A player on loan from his parent club coming on to face them.... Who is going to be first to mention Lua Lua?

https://www.newcastleunited.com/en/news/training-ground-extension-plans-submitted Think the most interesting part is this "as work to identify a new site for a future training facility continues."

Newcastle United 4-1 Manchester United - 13/04/2025

MOTD coverage seemingly trying their best to refer to Man U as 'United' as possible in a game where the only club that ever looked United was us. -

Even by Wor Flag's usual high standards, that looks special. -

I feel like you don't use the phrase 'He is conscious and talking with his family' unless it is something pretty serious. Poor bloke.
-
Fuck it. Why not just have every country there, complete knock out format. Get rid of the pointless qualifiers.
-
Probably depends on what European competition we end up in. Champions League, may as well loan him out. Conference League and he could get a decent amount of minutes, so keep him around. Europa League and would depend on who else we got in/who was up for loaning him.

That Lynx advert is so bad it wouldn't look out of place in Leicester's midfield.
