Ooh more Thauvin talk? Graham Carr is Herbert and Thauvin is Chris Griffin.
-
Quick Google suggests he played for Sarpsborg and Fredrikstad, neither seem to have kits with badges similar to that 'star' though.

Anyone else tempted to nip down the barbers and ask for a Koeman?

Who's the player?

Dick Advocaat's head has tripled in size since his playing days like

You just know Ryder's original draft said "Jethro Williams"

Baffling to see some doubters on here. Of course he's had his injury troubles but when he's fit the guy could be our best player for some time; incredibly intelligent, composed, great passer of the ball, excellent finisher. If he can put his injury troubles behind him he should be the first name on the team sheet for me.

Off to Millwall on loan apparently.

If he could work on his crossing and his decisiveness he could be an OK player to bring off the bench.

It's quotes like this that make me warm to McClaren. I can only imagine Pardew's thoughts on the same issue. He'd be petrified playing the two of them together. "sa'ing sa'ing fret science and front foot, stop me if I'm getting too technical" I think this is the one thing, above all else, that I despised about Pardew. The fact that in interviews he would always try and make out like his teams play progressive, attacking football but the reality is the exact opposite. Cunt.

I'm obviously in the minority here but I've not written Colo off just yet. Granted he's knocking on now at 33 (?) but he's always been the kind of defender who looks as if he could play at a high level well into his 30's. We've mentioned the previous coaching set up and how players seemed to stagnate and struggle to perform, and when you consider he's spent the majority of his time here alongside the likes of Mike Williamson and Steven Taylor, I'd suggest he still has something to offer now he has a potentially ideal partner alongside him. A lot of our players have something to prove this season, arguably Coloccini more than most.

Worth doing it for the realisation that I share a birthday with Victor Anichebe

Perhaps not, but in terms of signing a player to loan him out, Chelsea are the worst for it. No doubt about that. I wonder if they just see this as a moneymaking exercise. Do they usually get good fees when they finally get rid? It's not like Chelsea paid much of these players' wages throughout their careers since they spent most of their time on loan. To be fair I'm sure they made a profit on Lukaku and De Bruyne.

Every other month usually.

Clearly had his ballbag shopped out.

If you watch the footage, you can just about make out Mapou saying something like "I had more of a challenge against Shola in training you daft dwarf"

Well that was the most pointless signing ever by Chelsea. Marko Marin Lucas Piazon Christian Atsu Filipe Luis Kevin De Bruyne Tomas Kalas Gael Kakuta Jeffrey Bruma Slobodan Rajkovic Miroslav Stoch Romelu Lukaku Oriol Romeu Wallace Thorgan Hazard Marco Van Ginkel They've had a few to be fair

He's made it.
