  1. While I can relate to those unhappy with the idea of Vieira, I'm sure we'd all have been happy with Garde? Garde has only managed one club, Lyon. They took a punt on him and it worked out, he was unproven at the time. So why not us and why not Vieira? I think I'd be cautiously optimistic to be honest.
  2. This is confusingly exciting.
  3. Vieira could be a horrendous manager but he's not Carver so I'm in. Playing under the likes of Wenger and Mourinho and the understanding he had of the game could only be a good thing.

  5. £69k? What kind of pervert requests that?
  6. "If John Carver keeps the job, nobody will believe a word of Ashley's so-called ambition and the fans might as well pack up and go home" Is the only bit I'm interested in.
  7. Well that's the first day of silence over

Just can't see Carver being given the job at all. I know the club is shit etc etc, but I do think it's just negative thinking for the sake of it at times when people are saying "Definitely Carver" etc.

Should most definitely have a future here in my opinion. Yesterday epitomised how effective he can be. You don't come as far as he did with a club like Ajax if you've not got something about you. Pardew didn't know how to use him, nor does Carver. Yesterday was about the players' hard work. If it was down to Carver motivating them we'd not have needed that win yesterday and would have been safe long ago. Under the right coach, he could be an excellent player for us.
  11. Really like the look of Dybala. Juve in danger of becoming the Italian Bayern Munich, cherry picking the leagues best players.
  12. I saw the t-shirt earlier, it says SILLY, which precedes 'GINGER' and 'CUNT'

If Ashley is going to stay like he said, then a good, positive appointment is a must. It doesn't matter if we spend £10m or £150m in the summer. If Carver is in charge it'll be more of the same.

Sure it's already been posted, but Van Gaal's quote on today's game: “It is difficult. It is very sad that we can win and something bad happens that you don’t want to happen to another manager,” Van Gaal said. “It’s also Steve Bruce and I know what that means. I have never been relegated myself but I know it’s a sad thing. “We need to be ruthless. We have to respect the other clubs of the Premier League. We took six points out of six beating Newcastle United, so they expect us to do the same against Hull.”

It's football. We should all know by now it's pointless looking at stats, history, form etc. Sounds incredibly clichéd but it's true. As was said earlier, I'd be relieved if we survive, but not happy. I'm totally apathetic which is truly awful when you've supported a team 20+ years

I bet Ryan Taylor walked out and Carver laughed it off, "Top banter that Ryan, lad. Great stuff! Ryan......Ryan?" "He's gone to his car to get his Citalopr..." "SHUT UP MEHDI"

Here's how it'll play out: We start positively and take an early lead. Hull City fall a goal behind soon after. HT comes around an we're safe. Second half, we sit back and West Ham equalise. Hull City equalise. Hull City score again. West Ham score again and we're doomed. West Ham score again, and again. Into the stoppage time and Man United equalise. Carver grabs a mic, takes to the pitch and 'does a Phil Brown' EDIT: Then Lee Ryder writes a piece for the Chron "Carver masterminds great escape"
