  1. Not sure how McTominay hasn't been sent off there, shocker.
  2. Think some people have misinterpreted the question. Minimum expectations will be nowhere near 7th or 8th, more like 10th to 12th minus the threat of relegation whatsoever.
  3. Crystal Palace v Arsenal (I'm too late, 0-0 if you'll take it) Fulham 1 v Liverpool 4 Bournemouth 0 v Aston Villa 2 Leeds 2 v Wolves 0 Newcastle 2 v Notts Forest 1 Spurs 2 v Southampton 0 Everton 1 v Chelsea 2 Leicester 1 v Brentford 1 Man United 3 v Brighton 0 West Ham 1 v Man City 3
  4. We need him to hand in a transfer request, really. Just hope it doesn't encourage Aston Villa to pipe up, given they're intent on signing 86543 players this summer.
  5. Isn't that the point though? Just because someone is playing above their level it shouldn't invite personal abuse of any kind.
  6. Never understood their fascination with geography. Growing up in the midlands I was surrounded by fans from all teams. Who honestly gives a shite about the reasons for why any individual supports any club?
  7. Massively incestual lads fans?
  8. Nah, they're still shite, even compared with the other shite in the Championship
  9. So you think there could be a scenario where Howe thinks "You know what, I really want Bondswell to play tonight as it will benefit the squad in the build up to the Forest game, but it's not fair on the 40k crowd if we pick him." Fucking hell
  10. Surely we all want us to be 100% focussed on winning league games.
  11. I don't think Eddie Howe comes across as the sort of bloke who'd pick a team for a friendly this close to the season with that in mind
  12. How is he a raging tool though, this is what I don't get.
  13. And you've solely attributed that to Lingard consistently appearing in their match day squad
  14. How on earth do you know that?
  15. They're not L1 standard, but no need to exaggerate and say they'd be beaten by Sunday league teams - they really wouldn't. Fitness alone would see to that, however they've got way better control than your average Sunday league player ffs.
  16. Aye, but selling two very good 23 years olds in Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori to then spend and extra 30 million (net transfer fee) on a 28 year old striker who last scored the same amount of league goals as Luka Milivojevic just seems a bit weird to me. They just seem to sign people based on their reputation rather than players who'll actually be a good fit for their system. I guess changing manager often doesn't really help, maybe that's just it tbh.
  17. Completely agree, I'm all in on our policy tbh.
  18. I'm still of the opinion that one poor spell at Chelsea is nothing to go by for any player. They're a weird club, happy to keep finishing 3rd or 4th without ever seemingly trying to push on. It's no surprise some players come from harder working clubs and decide to coast through a few years with them.
  19. Aah well, he didn't exactly do anything after showing initial promise and was just cast aside.
  20. I wasn't there, just heard it second hand. Definitely happened though. It was so obvious that the Longstaff's despised him, given what they both went from under Rafa to wasting away under Bruce.
  21. He did, called Bruce a "fucking weapon" at the cricket a few years ago
  22. For 13 million he is worth the gamble imo, especially if it's him or nobody.
