I live an area of Sunderland that rivals anywhere in the North East. Are you Scotch? http://anmblog.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341c565553ef01287720ae12970c-pi

Don't want Flanagan. He's so ugly he hurts my eyes.

It's little wonder when you see what they've got to offer. They'll need to live in their rivals city amongst rival fans if they want somewhere nice to live. 17th every season is seen as a success so no ambition at all. Their fans are a throwback to the 1970s, where racism is still rife and they are more pre occupied with going on at their rivals than they are at their own club. They harboured a paedophile in their ranks for a year for their own gains. Unless they were paying twice the going rate in wages there's no reason for anyone half decent to consider a move there.

Away fans aren't entitled to 10% otherwise clubs could request 7,600 at Old Trafford and 6,000 at the Emirates which they can't. It's 5% or 3,000.....whatever is greater.
-
Possibly the week after. Fulham tickets aren't on sale yet and they'll want to maximise season ticket sales before they put Huddersfield on sale.

Was capped at 44,000 when SJP was extended to 52,000. Assume that's still the case.
-
Was definitely £35 last season as well.

Tbf it's nowt like RTG. Doubt there's even a dedicated Villa thread on here and if there is you'd probably have to trawl back page after page to find it. RTG regularly has 10 or more NUFC related thread on its first page.

They'll be one of our promotion rivals so I do.

Maybe he's running out of premier league options. Sunderland might not be glamorous but they are a s*** version of Everton in many ways. Overshadowed by another local team close by, but still a big fan base for a manager who can get it right. No self respecting person would work for them. They covered up for a paedophile man. They're morally bankrupt. Yet Rafa Benitez works for Mike f***ing Ashley. Ashley may be many things but to my knowledge he's never covered up a serious sex crime on a minor.
-
Exactly. They've had the slate wiped clean even more than we have in respect of them getting rid of their owner.

Villa have sold 18k season tickets.
-
Villa have always had a very fickle following. Wouldn't ever compare ourselves to them.

Their biggish crowds are negated by the fact they charge next to nowt for the fans to get in and flood the place with free tickets. For example their gate receipts are far smaller than the likes of Southamptons are as shown in the last set of accounts. Regarding the free tickets thing, a mate of mine works at Newcastle Uni and found out recently that the uni gets a load of discounted tickets for home games that uni staff can apply for. Never knew we did things like that, otherwise I'd have taken advantage of it whilst I was working there. They won't get "a load" which is the reason you were unaware of this but they will get some, which will be the case at clubs up and down the country. The mackems flood there university, all their local schools and many workplaces in the area with free and heavily discounted tickets which is why their gate receipts are tiny in comparison with other clubs in the league getting similar crowds and less than clubs averaging 15k less than them. Their last set of accounts showed a drop of 26% in their gate receipts despite an increase in attendances so it's clear they're having to give away more tickets than ever to get a crowd in. If it wasn't for the TV money and Ellis Short bailing them out they would be in administration because their fanbase certainly don't pull their weight.

Someone's bound to hate that idea too... Aye you can never please everyone all of the time. Must admit I've been very impressed with some of the stuff I've seen. My view is that anything is better than nothing. Let's face it SJP has been a soulless, sterile place on a match day far too long now (the odd big game apart). Something like this is long overdue so fair play to the lads involved for getting off their backsides and trying to do something about it. -
Would rather we sold him to an English club. It would attract a £5m-10m premium doing that.

Fulham - Newcastle United - 5/8/16 @ 7.45 - Live on Sky

Fulham don't have many fans. They should hand over half of their ground to us for this one -

Whatever happened to the old Newcastle United? -
That's it for me. Just say for arguments sake we get £20m for him. I would expect Rafa to go out and sign a better replacement for half that. You wouldn't even need £10m to replace him. So many players who are, in theory, worse deliver far more for their teams statiscally. If you looked at Sissoko's contribution, without knowing the players name/nationality etc, you'd never see an international footballer. I genuinely hope he leaves and feel the club will be far better off without him and his 'better than NUFC' attitude. You can tell by the players Rafa has recruited that we're no longer selling NUFC as a stepping stone club. In some respects we shouldn't expect anything more from this shithouse because him, and the likes of Cisse, Cabaye, Tiote etc were all sold the long term dream of using the club for their own gain. It's no wonder we've been left with a squad full of heartless c***s who care only for themselves. Rafa is very clearly going about introducing a new culture and I can't imagine there's much of a place for t***s like Sissoko/Gini etc, whatever Benitez is saying publically. I'm personally delighted to see these career vultures leave. Cisse, Sissoko, Tiote etc are all just Demba Ba's without the same PR Machines behind them. NUFC will be a better place without them, a healthier environment where new players will appreciate the opportunity and, I would hope, view playing for NUFC as an honour. Something most of the shitehawks we will ship out clearly don't. It all sounds so plausible, but not a lot of it really stands up under scrutiny. He's lazy - he's not. He wants to play in the CL - well most would, and he's been here for a few years now. It's not like he bailed out after 13 matches to f*** off to Palace. Rafa is going to introduce a new culture - true, but he's given no indication that Sissoko is a problem player, if anything he seems very keen to keep him. If he wanted shot he'd have bombed him out for £3m and that would be that. Get it through your skulls, if he leaves it will be at our price point and for a 24 yr old who just starred in the world cup final it won't be for peanuts. How old is £100 rated Payet btw, considering he flopped in the same tournament? I'd take Payet for £100 like regardless of his age.
